Dropped in while visiting the Atlanta area to get a fun jump done. Immediately greeted by the DZO and many of the local jumpers. Made to feel welcome. Was able to get 3 jumps done with minimal downtime. The King Air gets to altitude fast. I would go back given the opportunity!

So far I've made 2 tandem jumps with Ed Bishop, a great instructor. Now on to AFF! A good "family" feel to the place. Newcomers made to feel welcome. Not a lot in amenities, but fast food restaurants in nearby Monroe. King Air gets you to altitude fast! Hangar packing area, shower, coaching, weather usually mild in the winter. Good place!

I came out to Skydive Monroe just thinking I'd jump once for the bragging rights (you know, do a tandem and get a cool video). Even being out there as a first timer with absolutely NO prospects of getting into the sport... the staff and regulars treated me like family. I immediately sensed it was a place I wanted to be!

I did two tandems that very day and KNEW I had to do AFF, just to be around the amazing people and personalities. Now Skydive Monroe has become my second home. It doesn't matter if you are a fun jumper, tandem student or a spectator, these people truly care about your experience. It's a well run, safe, and fun operation. There is something out at Skydive Monroe that everyone should experience. Keep up the good work!!!

I have been to several other dropzones on the east coast and have found nothing like this place. Skydive Monroe was recommended to me when I moved to GA and they excepted me into their family from day one. Most of the people that I am now friends with come from this DZ. To anyone moving to or just visiting GA and wanting to skydive this is the only place to go.

Bill Scott, the owner of this dz is very professional and has many years of experience. The staff are second to none and always willing to give advice and help in any way they can. Brand new hanger, a king air, a cessna, bathrooms, showers, kitchen, and separate rigging loft and training rooms make this dz a must visit, and a must stay! I have enjoyed being part of this family for some time now and can say with absolute certainty that the people here are what make the dz so enjoyable. Everyone is always friendly and provide an atmosphere that welcomes all, to be left out is because you weren't here!

I have been jumping here for the last 1 3/4 years and have been amazed at the depth of knowledge of the people that have so much more experience than me. There are 4 riggers with all of the answers I need about equipment, packing and I never have sat out a weekend because my reserve didn't get packed in time. Thanks!!!

I came to Skydive Monroe in April of 2010 still on AFF to find that I would never leave. It has become my home. Bill Scott, Jerald Freeman, Russell Gunter, Max Sider, Joe Bennett, Charles Phar, Ken Ouzts to name a few have brought me to where I am. They opened their arms wide and took me under their wings and have shown me how to soar like an eagle. The staff at Monroe are very professional and well disciplined. Bill Scott runs a tight crew and I like the fact that everything is so organized. I never have to worry about who is doing what and were my spot is going to be on the plane. We organize on the ground first. I love my DZ family and they love me. For any tandem students out there, Bruce Minert, Russell Gunter, Steve Etheridge, Joe Bennett, Ken OuztsLiam Davel, Bruce Allen, and soon to come Ed Bishop are all great tandem masters surely to show you the best time of your life! There are some new Eagles coming out to play now. Lots of young jumpers like myself. I highly recommend Skydive Monroe to everyone! Come out and enjoy Euphoria!!

I was temporarily stationed in Augusta late this past Winter through early Spring and had the pleasure of making a few dozen jumps at SD Monroe. Bill, the owner is a stand up guy and runs a great DZ. The staff is very professional and safety is the #1 priority with fun being a close second. Almost every up jumper I met there was super friendly. Even being a lower number jumper at the time, I was invited to take part in formation jumps and RW scrambles on nearly every jump. I highly recommend this DZ to anyone, I've been looking for an excuse to go back ever since I left!

Overall, an excellent DZ. DZO Bill Scott has many years of experience and the operation reflects it. The staff is very experienced and go out of their way to make first time jumpers and old pros alike feel welcome. The equipment is top notch! After making a tandem jump at another DZ, I decided I wanted to earn my license and started researching the operations around the state. I chose Skydive Monroe and do not regret the decision. I completed my AFF there and have continued to visit other locations mainly to network in the skydiving community. Skydivers are great people wherever you go, but there's no place like HOME!!! Stop by sometime and I have no doubt you'll see what I've come to know.

Really enjoyed my short stop at this DZ. the owner right away came up and introduced himself, gave me a tour of the facilities and introduced me to some other skydivers who I might like to jump with. Decent sized landing area and they are in the process of making it even bigger. Nice packing area and they also let me use some of their equipment to download a video someone shot of a 4 way jump I did there. I checked out a few other DZ's around ATL and this was by far my fav!
