Our Florida location, east of I-95 on the coastline, is a convenient drive for skydivers from Orlando, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade County, making it the most accessible Florida skydiving destination.

You’ll enjoy skydiving over the Florida Coastline! Whether its your First Time Tandem Skydiving in Florida, you are Learning to Skydive Independently at our year-round school for the Accelerated Freefall Course (AFF) or you are an Experienced Skydiver looking for a “destination” or a “home” drop zone.

Our drop zone is “actually” located on the Central Florida Coastline. Jumpers have an incredible view of the Sebastian, Florida Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean while in freefall and under canopy, as well as an enjoyable coastal environment after landing.

Landing Area: HUGE landing area with many outs that surround the dz. BEAUTIFUL view of the Florida coast, refreshing air!

Manifest: VERY Organized and has two delightful sweethearts working as hard as they can to make sure everyone is happy!

Zoobar: YUMMY FOOD on the DZ! you can't beat the convenience of warm meals only a few steps away from the packing area!

Staff: I cannot give enough credit to the DZ-manager! She works Very Hard to cater everyone visiting Sebastian. The organizers, instructors and coaches were all very informative and available for questions.

Gear Shop: I was so impressed with the sweetheart who runs the gear shop! She worked really hard to ensure happiness to all the little customers at Sebastian. I also liked the pretty little wooden deck and paintings on the Drop Shop - So adorable :^)

Clean Restrooms: Since the change to city water, the restrooms are very pleasant to visit. They are clean and delightfully decorated. PLUS, the showers always guarantee Hot Water!

I look forward to calling Skydive Sebastian my home DZ -- Yaaay!!!

I planned my vacation back from Iraq on my mid-tour leave around this DZ because it was a so called full time DZ. I completely understand that turbine DZ's rely mainly on tandem business, but what is up with telling up jumpers, visiting your business that you will be doing jumps and have alot of tandems scheduled during the week when you don't. I don't consider 6 tandems within 4 hours alot. And the local up jumpers getting together and deciding that 55 to 60 degree weather is to cold to jump,, babies. I wish I had the benefit of being a spoiled turbine rat. Instead of being a full time DZ, just do buziness on the weekends, or get a Cesna for the week when it is only 60 degrees and your local baby up jumpers don't want to make skydives. My next comment about this DZ is the friendlyness of the staff and skydivers. I dont think any person walking into a DZ that is not familiar should be searching to find someone to talk to about getting a waiver to fill out, or someone to talk to about anything at the DZ. I had to wait wait 5 minutes for the manifest lady to stop talking to whoever it was right next to her to get a waiver. The local up jumpers that were there did not seem to want to talk to anyone new with the exception of 2 jumpers. The one jump I did make, the jumpers on the plane, including 2 tandem masters taking students out did not ask what the other jumpers were doing on the load, who should be exiting in what order or anything. It really kills me to go to DZ's that are just there for money only, not safety, not making new friends, not helping new customers out, just the money. It isn't hard to incorporate all those things and still make the money.

Stopped by a while back for a jump. Beautiful view and a very nice facility. The staff was helpful and friendly but the other jumpers were not. Very cliquish, definately felt like an outsider.

The bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean and nice. Even though I was there when it was really busy, there should have been better organizing for the two days I was there. I had to wait more than two hours to get on a load, and there was only one plane (the caravan) which was flown extremely slowly up to altitude. Not many people there that really reached out to others or even talked to you. Only thing I liked was the fact that I could see the ocean so close to the dropzone.

After becoming DZ orphans (we used to jump at Skydive America in Pahokee) my husband and I stumbled around to different DZ's without much enthusiasm. We'd jump and go home. No real vibes or after sunset hanging like we were used to. In my opinion, skydiving is so much about the culture AND the Jumps. One without the other is only 1/2 as fun. A friend talked us into making the almost 3 hour drive to Sebastian and camping out for the night. What a change this has made for us! The DZ kicks butt! It's all about the people - which are way cool. We party at night then stumble to our tent. The showers are CLEAN and are STINK FREE. I guess they fixed the water thing...The town is also very cool - there are nice places to eat with water views and it's not expensive at all (compared to Miami prices....). The best part is the awesome vibes. We are know proud to call Sebastian our HOME DZ.

I completed my AFF and FS1 during the christmas holidays out in Sebastian. The dropzone was buzzing over the holiday period and so was I! The coaching was top-class, completely put me at ease and took care and time over my teaching. A range of instructors gave me a little something new for each skydive, and something more to learn thbrough the progressive teaching of the AFF course. Sped through the AFF, but safely, went on to complete 65 jumps in 2 weeks. Got compeltely hooked and spent far too much money!

I can recommend this center for anyone who wants to do any kind of training, my AFF was done in the utmost proffesional way and i can recommend this place fully to anyone and everyone.

For experianced jumpers they had load organising, FF coaches etc and the most amazing views ever ever ever!

I am highly biased as it was my first time, but by god it was one of the best drop zones ive been too, and i've been to quite a few now!

Thanks for everything guys!
Lucy

The ocean breeze is what sets this Dz apart from others. The staff was always friendly. The video guy was awesome, the rigger kept his promise on times, and the atmosphere is usually just to cool. No bad words or hard feelings to express about this dropzone. I just wished I lived closer to it. This is my favorite DZ and then Deland. Not to mention the view, oh my God the view is so surreal due to the Dz being so close to the ocean. Always walk away with a great skydiving day here.

Sebastian was a great relaxed place to go. This place couldn't be any easier to find under canopy if it was painted neon orange. Their manifest system is the coolest I have ever seen. You get a card with a bar code of your account. Put money on it, then show your card when you manifest.

The packers were fast and good. Plenty on hand.

The people are absolutely great fun to be around. The food was pretty decent. The bar only served beer though, so no margaritas.

I would say the most beautiful veiw from the air of anyplace I have been. Really close to the ocean.

Inviting, friendly, fun. What more could you want? And the gear shop is pretty cool.

The only thing I did not like was that the water was well water, which is par for the course that part of Florida, but this was really stinky. While that does not matter for toilet water, it is kinda sucky for shower water.

Everyone who works at Sebastian is worth meeting and spending time with. Well worth spending a day or two at this dropzone.

The Tandem masters that jumped with our group were great. Real friendly and definitely know what they are doing.

The view was amazing and the video and pictures are great!

The facility itself with the camp ground is real nice.

The only cons were that the bathrooms smelled kinda bad.

Also the music selection to choose when editing your videos is a little low, so maybe you might want to bring your own music. We had to wait about 45 minutes until the camera guy finished his jumps for the day before we got one of our videos. Maybe there is a way you guys can find a way to have someone other that the camera guy edit the tapes. Just a thought.

And with it being such a nice day, there were a lot of people jumping so it was like 1,2,3, next, no time for chit chat. I mean, I understand this because they want to give everyone a jump on such a beautiful day but I guess I was expecting more of a one on one buddy/buddy thing.

But please understand that the positives outweigh the negatives by a ton. The reason why I state the negative is because I am sure the great people at Sebastian are alwats looking to improve and I know these commenst will help.

I highly highly highly recommend Sebastian Skydive. Thank you for helping in creating a beautiful and unforgettable experience for me and my family that jumped with me.

I just finished my AFF there 1/16/04 and had a great time. The instructors were all great and very safety orientated. I went straight through and loved every minute of it. The bar and restaurant are great to get some quick food between jumps. The packers are all very quick and friendly. The landing area is very large and there are a lot of good outs if you get dumped off in the wrong area. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of getting into the sport, or looking for a great DZ to jump at.

I've traveled to a lot of dz's and boogies around the country but I always return to my two favorites - Skydive Sebastian and Skydive CrossKeys.

Sebastian has the year round comfortable skydiving weather, the beautiful views, good people, good freeflying and a nice laid back atmosphere.

There is a small base of local jumpers with a large base of transient jumpers coming through on vacation and holidays.

The same jumpers seem to return year after year, though after that first stop. Some come and stay for months at a time before going home. It's nice to see everyone return each year and to keep adding to the group.

It isn't too far to travel to the cities for night life but quite enough in the small town with a few nice restaurants and the beaches are close by with some excellent surf for when the weather rolls in.

If you are used to busting the clouds, forget about it, sorry it's the pilot's license and not your call. The locals make sure we stay legal on the weather days.

I had an opportunity to run out to Skydive Sebastian last Friday. I usually jump in Titusville at Skydive Space Center, however with a day off and some time to kill I took a little drive out to Sebastian.

The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly with me. I was at the DZ and signed the release and had my rental gear, etc., on the plane and down the runway all within 30 minutes of arrival. I was very satisfied with that aspect. At my home DZ it doesn't usually happen that quick, so I was pleasantly suprised to see that when a time is given by manifest for a load, that time is held to and the plane leaves when it is supposed to.

The downside is that the gear looked pretty old and ragged by comparison to what I am used to. Secondly, the plane (a Grand Caravan) looked alot older than what I am usually going up in. Ok, I am spoiled and have gotten used to really nice gear and aircraft at Skydive Space Center, but honestly I was a bit un-nerved by the condition of the equipment (and happy to get out when it came time for jump run). Lastly, the 13,500 ft exit was less than I am used to, so that was a small but expected dissapointment.

The landing area was really nice and I especially liked the little gravel accuracy circle out in the middle of the landing area. My home DZ would do good to create one of these. :)

Overall, my experience was good and I would recommend jumping here, just might feel better with my own equipmenet and not using the rental gear.

great dz. i visited sebastian in January for an FSL meet and was impressed. just walking onto the dz is inviting and there is a vibe unlike other places i've been to. It was the first meet of the season, manifest ran without a hitch. packing area is a little smaller than i'm used to, but that's a small issue. cafe/barr are really nice facilities and the DZ is a great place to jump or just hang out. very friendly.

I did AFF there, so it has a special place in my hart. The staff is very cool (especially Patrick Osbourne). They have Skydive University and Freefly Training Center (you can learn to freefly from the best, in the sky or in the tunnel). There are always lots of students going through AFF. The aircraft: Skyvan, a very fast Super Otter with bench seats, and a Caravan.
The only negatives: Jumping operations were put on hold sometimes for broken clouds that a lot of other DZ's would have put loads up in. I like to make the call myself whether or not I will jump. It also seemed that most of the fun jumpers were freefliers. Other than the guys from XL (who are very cool, by the way) I didn't see a lot of RW jumpers.
I highly recommend Sebastian for AFF or a winter vacation.

Skydive Sebastian is an awesome place to hang out and jump from the sky! I just completed AFF1 & 2 there this weekend, and had a blast! Got excellent instruction from Mik and my 2nd JM Christina. Everyone on the staff is nice and welcoming. The place is run very smoothly, and the environment is just very welcoming. There is a bar/cafe on site, small, but pretty good food, and nice people. Recommended for beginners, saw many tandems having a blast, and recieved superior instruction from Mik for my AFF1 & 2 courses. Also many visitors, experienced and not, from other countries.

A++++++ definitely pay them a visit!

A buddy and I decided to try out Sebastian today and I was so pleased I had to write a review. The staff and the jumpers are awesome!! The staff made sure to give us a full briefing and check in from time to time to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The jumpers were just all around good people, no attitudes, no lectures, just there for the love of the sport. I reccommend this place to anyone looking to just have a chill, fun time. I definetely will be back and will be bringing friends as well. Blue Skies to all!!

Last October I did my AFF in Sebastian since then I've been back twice more (I live in the UK.) Since then I've been to DZ's in four countries around the world and never have I found a warmer welcome. The staff are great, profesional and helpful always willing to give their time to listen and help. Sebastian is also home of quite a few world class skydivers both freeflyers and RW. The facilties are great and the social life is outstanding. Skydive Sebastian share aircraft with Crosskeys and the aircraft are well maintained. If you're thinking of doing AFF I can't recomendthis place enough, If you've got a D licence, I can't recomend this place enough. Can't wait to return!

I left Skydive America Palm Beach on a Saturday night at 10.30pm dissapointed and vowing never to go back.

I got to Skydive Sebastian at midnight, it was all closed up, a chap in the parking lot gave me directions to the hotel, it was great only 5 minutes away.

The next day was great made 3 jumps, it was a fairly slow Sunday.
Way friendly service, great food, great vibes, I loved it. If you are coming to Florida Sebastian is the place for you.
