This Drop zone has been very welcoming to me and everyone else that has ever set foot into it. Great skydivers that have many many skydives are your staff members that are willing to go on any type of dive with you. If you are ever in the area and have a chance to visit DelMarVa, then do it, because I guarantee you will love it

Hmm... where to begin? Let's see, my skydiving experience started off extremely traumatizing at another close-by DZ. Brian convinced me to stay in the sport and I got the best treatment I think any student has ever gotten.

Delmarva is awesome. Great student equipment, tons of outs, Keith is the best damn pilot/spotter. Friendliest environment I've seen at any DZ. Even the "skygods" there were always offering to jump with me back when I was starting out. Great turbine aircraft. No powerlines anywhere. Cheap jump rate specials. After travelling to a dozen or so dz's, I still call Delmarva my home.

This is where we have chosen to take our college skydiving club, and I don't regret that for one second. They always accomodate our needs.

Awesome place. I highly recommend it!

Anyone interested in skydiving or a tandem jump should check this place out.

You will know the minute you arrive this DZ is a rare find and open to anyone. I think you would have to look long and hard to find a more professional and dedicated staff. Everyone you come in contact with is quick to say hello or help you out.

I began my AFF Program this past weekend. I will never be able to top that experience. You only have ONE FIRST SKYDIVE. Only another skydiver understand what I mean and what is found up there.

Thanks again to all the staff for a great time and a job well done. Have a safe holiday, hope to see everyone soon.

I visited Skydive Delmarva a few times in the summer of 2002. At the time I had less than 50 jumps, and every time I went there, people jumped with me. Friendly jumpers are the most important thing about a dz to me, so this place is very high on my list. When I was there, they had a Caravan and King Air, I've heard they have an Otter now. The landing area was wide open and easy to spot from altitude. And they're near the beaches, so that's cool too.

Well, I'm metro DC, so I can drive two hours in any direction to jump. I choose DelMarVa. Why?

1. The Otter. In my opinion the best jump plane because it balances size speed and noise. [plenty of the first two, not too much of the third]

2. The staff is always cool and knows what they're doing, no doubts there. They worked me through my AFF and I've never had a complaint.

3. The landing area has more than enough outs. The DZ has a bunch of farms and flat stuff surrounding it. To be honest, I used my fair share of them while I was learning, and it's good to know they're there.

4. Maybe the make or break thing: the DZO. Brian is awesome. He takes care of anything and everything that needs taking care of, and he's always done right by me.

Summary: all the good stuff I've read in reviews, none of the bad. It's home.

I have a problem now, I want to skydive.

Skydive Delmarva was a great place to jump for the first time, instructional videos and person to person interactivity with the tandem instructor. If your close to the Delaware Shore you Best hit this place for the best day of your Vacation!
