Fun place for newly licensed guys. They let you do your thing because if you've come this far they know your not that dumb. Rob and Lisa are awesome.

Skydive Empire is a great alternative for fun jumpers looking for a relaxed DZ to jump in Northern Colorado. The King Air is comfortable, and the jump tickets are reasonable. You get to land right next to the packing hangar, and there are literally infinity safe out places to land around the DZ, as it is mostly surrounded by fields.

The best thing about Empire, however, is the friendly and relaxed atmosphere! Camping right on the DZ, dogs welcome, and a bonfire! (I do not have anything to do with Skydive Empire, but I DO like jumping there)

Empire is the chiller, friendlier, smaller, more economical of the Northern CO DZs. The only drawback is that load frequency is heavily dependent on how many folks show up (as are most small DZs). Camping, covered packing area, occasional specialty jumps and all disciplines welcome make this a worthy little DZ.

Went here to continue my IAD. Was treated very well and loved the experience! Rob is a great DZO and I bet if you jump there you will have a great time!
