I purchased a $99 groupon for a 9000 foot jump but i didn't use it on time and it was a month expired. They stated after expiration it's good for $99 toward any of their products. I had negotiated that they would give us the groupon price for a 13k jump which was $129 on site without having to go through groupon. Crediting $99 towards the agreed on price would result in a $30 difference. When I got there they told me the $99 would only credit toward a full price jump. So I had to pay an addition $100 instead of the $30 previously agreed on. Arguing my point, this eventually resulted in the manager yelling at me in front of my friends and his other customers. It was absolutely ridiculous. I ended up paying the $100 because I didn't want to ruin my friends jumps. I wasn't even jumping. This was for my girlfriend. Otherwise I would have walked for sure. Horrible experience. He also lied about his arrangement with Groupon, claiming they don't have to give groupon a 50% commission. That commission is universal. I have offered groupons before and I know how it works.

Best place to go. Mike was amazing. Explained everything perfectly. I would recommend it over and over. And I will come again. Best thing I've ever done. 10/10 2 thumbs up

I am a fun jumper and was working in the area for 2 weeks. Their site says they are open wed-sunday 9am-sunset. I called and called and no one ever answered. I stopped by twice a day wed-fri both weeks the place was a ghost town. Not one sign on the door, and nothing on their voicemail explaining why they weren't there. Not a very good way to run a business. I would hate to be a fun jumper in the area and have no way of knowing if they are sending loads up. If your going to be closed just put something up on your website/door/or answering machine. I totally understand if your slow and don't have the business, or the planes broken or whatever, that's not why I am mad. I am mad at the lack of communication to your customers, which is poor management. I was really hoping to get a few jumps in, looked like a fun DZ

Never came across any business where they yell at their customers. They were very rude over the phone. Purchased tickets but don't mind losing my money instead of risking my life with a bunch of arrogant people.

This place has been "working on it" for quite some time. Both landing area being close to each other make it a good size landing area, but the student field is full of potholes, and is a broken / sprained ankle nightmare.

One of the only places that still allows swooping which is cool.

They fly a king air when they have the business for it, not an otter.

Use a bus to get back from the Landing area.

Gear is old and used. Not really that many options for students or tandems.

This place has lost many great instructors and staff to the lack of managerial organization that is exemplified here. This is a prime example of a business model not to follow.

All in all, the locals are the best, but the management, or lack there of makes this one of the worst experiences. I would find somewhere else to jump. Anywhere else...

I just made my second tandem here and had a great time. I an also starting my AFF here as well. Pat is an awesome guy and very welcoming. I feel accepted here and other jumpers welcomed me here to and shared with me some advice for my AFF. I recommend any skydiver new or experienced to check this place out. Blue skies

I did my AFF here, the guys are friendly, knowledgable, and just fun to hang out with. Pat, the owner, does it all from tandems to packing, Pete is an extremely knowledgable canopy pilot & instructor, and Kurt shoots awesome video. I have seen some bad tandem videos by other dropzones, but Kurt's videos and flying skills are 2nd to none. If you are doing a tandem, you have to get the video, you won't regret it! Huge safe landing area and a great environment. So if you're in the area, head out to SkydiveSac at the Lincoln airport in California.

Perfect place to learn. Student landing area is huge and very forgiving. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and informative. Helpful every step of the way even long after you graduate the program. High performance area now has the swoop pond up and running for all you pros. If your thinking of doing the AFF program I would highly recommend this place because of the staff's experience level, personal interaction and emphasis on safety. The dropzone has a very laid back friendly vibe where everyone (staff and jumpers) is happy to be there. Bring your own snacks and drinks though.

My girlfriend and I just moved to NorCal and tested out all the NorCal DZs. We decided to make Skydive Sac our home b/c it is a clean, friendly, safe DZ with amazing skydivers. Upon arriving, we received a very thorough briefing on landing pattern ops as well as a personal briefing by the kingair pilot. Pat, the DZO is working a deal on a 10,000 sq/ft hangar right next to the safest landing area I’ve seen. They have two landing areas separated by a no-fly-zone which separates the high performance landing area. The swoop pond has been dug and is awaiting a liner & H2O. I would definitely recommend this DZ to anyone, no matter your jump numbers. Blue Skies
