Skydive Elsinore is located approximately one hour away from both San Diego and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, nestled in the scenic Elsinore Valley, home to Southern California's largest natural lake and next to the beautiful Ortega Mountains. Skydive Elsinore was established in 1959 and is the longest running skydiving operation in North America, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2009. Skydive Elsinore prides itself with having the friendliest staff in the industry. Skydivers locally, nationally and internationally are treated second to none. Everyone who walks onto the property leaves with a smile on their faces. Skydivers commonly refer to Skydive Elsinore as their "home away from home". Skydive Elsinore's unique layout was carefully planned to offer skydivers ease of use. The 8,000 sq. ft. covered and carpeted packing area with cool misters, offers skydivers UV protection for their equipment and comfort for packing. Adjacent to the packing area is 1.5 acres of plush grass which is the main landing area. The landing area is carefully maintained and is nicer to land on than a well manicured golf course. The aircraft loading area is adjacent to the landing areas. No bus rides, undue sun exposure, or long walks make for the most comfortable skydiving environment possible. Along with these amenities; Skydive Elsinore has beautiful air-conditioned team and video debriefing areas. But enough about all that - just come see it for yourself. Marketing

on my way to Thailand I had to stop for a day in lala land, rented a car, drve towards Elsinore, got there, felt at home instantly, smaller than the other place near by, cool vibes, helpful people, familliar faces, great layout, simple landing area.
Beautiful landscapes, sunset over the mountains, over the lake... good party after the last load. Wish I could have stayed longer
I will be back...

I only got to jump there one day but loved the dropzone. Everyone made me feel very welcome and right at home. The desert hills make an interesting background. I will highly recommend it to anyone going to California.

The scenery is absolutely goregous. Mountains on 2 sides...lake on a third...nothing more beautiful than a sunset hop 'n' pop at full alti. People are very friendly and welcoming. It's great to have the student, swoopers and regular jumpers each having their own landing area. Only thing that was "strange" was the fact the winds would sometimes switch directions every load.

Skydive Elsinore is the best DZ I've ever been to, and my Dad owns one so that's saying something! Top notch facilities, world-class staff, and two hot otters, along with that unique and addictive Elsinore love, make it the only place you want to be on weekends. If you are a new belly flyer, this is definitely the drop zone to come to. Bringing newbies up in the ranks is one of Skydive Elsinore's top priorities-- I am evidence of that. Show up and from your first visit to the office you will be welcomed and pointed in the right direction for you-- be it the 2-way belly camps, the canopy flight school, the hilarious freaks doing rodeos, the experienced LO's, or whatever! Come visit soon and let's JUMP! I'm ALL ABOUT IT! ;o)

I am very happy to call Skydive Elsinore my home now. After moving to Southern California, I was blessed by having three dropzones within reasonable driving distance of my house. Elsinore was the first place I went and I haven't really looked back. I got nicely connected here (important because I'm still young in the sport) pretty quickly. The teams and LOs are great. Often, if a team is not training they organize and share a great deal of experience all with the motivation of keeping you flying, and smiling. I'm pretty much 100% RW, but love a good hybrid jump. The freeflyers are always grinning ear to ear. I've yet to encounter any "skygods" beating their chests; everyone is there to fly, have fun, be safe and share experience. The events they schedule are worth every investment required. My weekends there are so much fun, it makes my Mondays in "reality" all that more difficult to bear. If you're looking for a place to call home, regardless of experience, Skydive Elsinore is it. Blue Skies!

I agree that Skydive Elsinore is by far the most diverse dz around. I enjoy the freaky freeflyers and the wonderful full day of events that are organized by many of the friendliest people I have met. The facilities are all their. The view is beautiful with the lake to see-as you take off. The landing areas are huge, and the turn arounds are fun. Elsinore has great deals with jumps blocks to offer and a party place to be!!!

Elsinore is a great place to jump. The otters turn all day long so there is almost always a load going up. Lots of grass and a big (shaded) packing area too. The load organizer's are great and can usually find something to include you in if you're visiting. They also have great camps to hone up your skills. It's easy to get to from the freeway, and your landing area choices are vast! "You can land here, or here, or here, or even over here...". Friendly staff and locals. Come visit :)
