They do tandems in the rain and thunder storms. They just put a student with 8 jumps out for a hop-n-pop at 1,800'. This place is an accident waiting to happen. Like I said. It is all about cutting corners and trying to get away with whatever they can to make a buck. They got some nice jump planes and if you are a licensed skydiver watch your back and you should be fine. I do not recommend sending someone to do a tandem or training here at all!

Great place to skydive. The staff is a very friendly and professional. Huge landing area and a good view from the sky! I was there for two hours tops and felt like I was at my home DZ. I highly recommend Skydive Skyranch.

I took my fiancé for his birthday I had called a month in advance to make sure I could surprise him on his birthday. They told me $200 and be the at 9:00am. We arrived at 8:45am and they then told us "it's gonna be another $100 to do the jump we wanted to do." Irritated by the fact that they couldn't even find the paper work for the first 200 I paid I agreed to do the extra 100 so I could give my fiancé what he came for. After 5 hours of ground training they tell us they are waiting for the winds to die down. Highest paying customer and we waited another 3 hours watching all the cheap divers go up and jump. Finally at 5pm they tell us well you can't jump today and we can only refund you 200 out of 300! Aside from them being rude from the get go they had no legit excuse as to why my fiancé couldn't jump. This place is a joke and they just deal with you to get your money. I've read many reviews that I wish I'd seen earlier otherwise I wouldn't have wasted a 5 hour trip and 3 days and ruin my fiancé whole birthday day!! I promise my friends and family will not be going to this rip off! Very unprofessional and disorganized!

Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Some of the best people I've ever met (and very funny). They were all very safety conscious. Nice hangar. Great place all the way around!! Wish it was closer so I could make it home.

They have two 182's , but they will have a Beech 18 in service soon . There are lots of outs . The staff and DZO are profesional and very funny. They always welcome up jumpers !! If skyranch was closer to me it would be my home DZ !

I was flying a trip with my corporate job and had a couple hours to burn before I had to leave. I walked up to their hangar and, in a matter of minutes, I was on the next load. One of the jumpers even loaned me his rig (Thanks, Lyton, I owe you one!) I will definitely come back here. Great atmosphere! I wish I could of stayed longer.

I was welcomed with open arms. I had been there less than 5 minutes when I was introduced to a wonderful group of skydivers. I was then shown around, given an up-to-date aerial map, and was told all there was to know about wind directions, speeds, and outs. The staff were very polite, kind, and professional. I greatly appreciated the time they spent with me to make sure that I felt comfortable. The DZ felt like a home away from home. I strongly suggest visiting Skydive Skyranch.

Skyranch is a pleasant place to spend the day, but just doesn't seem to be a good place to regularly go to. There just isn't anything to do in between jumps or if you just want to hang out, and there isn't much space to pack. Wolf is a good guy, as well as the rigger there, but most everyone else there seems uncomfortable being in a tight place together. Overall, a nice place to visit.

I was born (so to speak) at Skyranch 7 years ago and still call it home even when there's another DZ half the distance from my house. I know of another jumper (one of our TMs) that drives an additional hour and a half past a dz that's 30 min from his house to get here. Good people and great times!

I can truly say that Skyranch has some of the greatest people I have ever met. I miss all of the very friendly Up Jumpers there. I learned to Skydive at Skyranch on their Static Line program. If you want a very professional place with a awsome DZO. Then this is the place to jump!!! Check them out!!!

Thanks and Blue Skies
