Agree with below. Made one jump last Saturday (15 Jun 2019) before the weather turned. If there are clouds (in my case tops at 7k, bottoms at 5k and no visibility of the ground. The surrounding mountaintops aren't visible either, and Kandertal is a narrow valley), they spot with GPS and jump anyway (for real). Brand new C208B Grand with STOL kit, flown in from Wichita earlier this year. On the load I jumped (#5), they threw the tandems out at 10.5k AGL then went up to 12.5k AGL for the fun jumpers...nice. Tandem canopies are ~300sf and they hook them in. Every single time. I remarked to the DZ foreman that "At Reichenbach, hook turns aren't against the rules, they ARE the rules." Heh.

Beautiful views. One jump was CHF 55, almost $57. Switzerland not be cheap.

I was in Interlaken for the weekend and came out to Skydive Switzerland one Sunday in March. I took the train out to Reichenbach and walked 20 mins to the dropzone (ignore google maps and take the back route along altestrasse).

The staff and funjumpers were welcoming and made time for visitors like me. As with many drop-zones, its tandem-driven (no tandems == no funjumping), but they look after fun-jumpers all the same - the lifts are a sensible mix of both. At the end of March its not too cold but there's still snow on the montains so the views are pretty awesome. They were flying their 208 up to 12.5k above the DZ.

Definitely worth a visit.

I made a visit to Skydive Switzerland while on holiday with my family in nearby Speiz. Everyone at the DZ was very friendly and welcoming, and I was on a load in their Porter within half an hour of turning up. The views over Lake Thun and the huge snow covered peaks all around are awe inspiring. The DZ is right next to the Niesen, a dramatic pyramid shaped mountain, and the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau are all nearby. In freefall there is a great sensation of speed as you drop into the valley below the height of the mountain tops. The DZ seems to be mainly a tandem operation during the week, but they welcome fun jumpers and make an effort to slot them in on their loads. In summary, if you are in the Interlaken area a visit to Skydive Switzerland is an absolute must, and I definitely hope to be going back sometime. If there is a more dramatic, scenic DZ anywhere in Europe I will eat my pilot chute!

DZ is located 20mins drive from Interlaken. A beautiful place to jump. Awesome views of the Swiss alps and Interlaken. Caters for tdm, AFF and fun jumpers. Experienced and friendly instructors. Indoor packing and nice grassed landing area. Rigger available for most standard rigging work (as time permits) Specialty jumps-glacier, high altitude, mountain swooping and some other injumps can be organised if aircraft is available, sufficient numbers and experience permits.
I have worked and fun jumped at this DZ and highly recomend a visit to this beautiful area.
