one of my favorite drop zone with good vibe and highly professional staff, I recommend it for Freefly,tracking jumps and of course 15k is not everywhere.

I was on a family holiday in Seville but had planned to get to this DZ for a few jumps. I took a taxi from Seville, which was expensive. The driver told me that was because the access road was not that good. When I arrived at the DZ the docs check/kit check went smoothly. Manifest were helpful and Cedric (who I later learned is a champion skydiver) took time out to show me the ropes and do the DZ brief. Due to the heat the DZ closed around 13.00 which suited me perfectly. I made some new friends, one of whom was doing AFF and who offered to drive me back to Seville and also collected/delivered me the next time I went to the DZ, thus solving my major transport issue. I went there to skydive, which is what I did. The fact that the other facilities (toilets etc) are a bit basic, worried me not a jot.

On regular weekdays it takes usually the first 90 minutes of sitting around in the morning until they have enough people to fill first load. The G-92s do not go up if they have more than 4 slots open. I have spend there more then 10 days by now and it is the same thing everyday, so you never know, when it will really start.

Once it runs, it does run well and despite the waiting time in the morning it is possible to do 10 jumps. Sometimes they have jump limits of 50 or 100 because of the winds, then the pace slows down a little.

Manifest is tipically arrogant and in my opinion the worst about this place. You allways have to wait and they make you feel like you have to beg for manifesting onto a load, or finding a coach or anything. Because of the many different regulations (USPA, BPA, etc) it is not clear for them what is allowed and what not. E.g. if you want to do a 4 - way freefly under BPA you need FF1 qualification but under USPA you can do it anytime even with A-License. At Skydive Spain it is up to the manifest to decide wether you are allowed to do a freefly or not, regardless of where you have got your license and how much experience you might have. They do this with absolute no system and constently get people angry. Same with some of the coaches.

Very good and not expensive food at the restaurant / bar, great landing area, fast rigging if required.

Other than the friendliness and manifest, this is really a great place to jump.

I love this dropzone. It's my favorite in Europe. Maybe ever.

Always 15k jumps. Dorniers every day, every jump (they own 5 within the company).

Incredible weather. Huge hangars. Fun village nearby for drinks and dinner after jumping. Bar on the premises.

No matter when you go, there always seem to be jumpers from many different countries around. It's a melting pot of skill levels, experience, cultures and stories - which makes it a really fun dropzone to connect.

There's really something magical about Skydive Spain. It just has something!

Went there to get A license. Had a great time and got what I wanted.

the company can help you with almost anything you need. accommodation, help with renting a car and even rent you a Bike.

Almost once in a month they have skysaver week. You should call and hear what offer they have in those weeks.

The staff is very professional and put safety above all. It might be a little stressful and feel like unfriendly but it is mostly for your own good (especially for AFF).

The DropZone itself is a little poor on Facilities. Very hot, bad toilets and the bar is a little far.

I will definitely recommend this place to whoever would like to do AFF course.

As a student I went to Skydive Spain to fullfill AFF platinum course, this in combination with vacation with my family (wife + 3 children). To become skydiver was a dream since childhood and I wanted more self-trust. From the beginning I felt that I was "landed" in a group robots without emotions. Staff was tired, not motivated, also my instrucor. He had most of the time no time for me especially after a landing.

There was always an issue. Level 1 was good but with landing I flared to early with a smash on the ground as result. Mr Steve came to me, asked in a monotone manner if I a was OK and I had to stand up for checking this. He said without emotions what I did wrong and he left. I stand there waiting on my instructor but he didn't come. Just left alone after my first jump with a canopy on my back.

Level two: radio didn't work, I did not hear any instructions by radio....I landed in an angel of 90 degrees arrow and smashed down. I felt a little pain in my right foot. In the debriefing instructor said that I was a candidate to make severe injuries to myself and to others! The ground will always winning to me.

But I passed to level 3. In the evening I had to go to hospital. My foot was getting thicker and thicker with a lot of pain. Diagnosis: great contusion with ligaments overstraightened. I got a plaster and I absolutely has to rest. Today I went to skydive office to say I had to stop with the course. Brrrrr...what a coldness. I had also to wait again on my instructor because he was with a load. After his landing he was running to videoroom (was videoman) he saw me and raised his hand... I did the sign that I wanted to talk to him and again he rised his hand meaning that I had to wait for him.

After an half an hour of waiting....I went with my daughter to the car where my family was waiting.

First of all, sorry for my bad English maybe that's why I was not good treated well by staff and other people there. Except for the instructor Sandra...The only staffmember who had a warm heart I felt.

So after discussing of these mentionned issues above with my wife...I have decided to stop with skydiving (or to learn it) because I don't trust any more the radio and because I will always remember the words of Herrn Julian: " I was a candidate to make severe injuries to myself and to others! The ground will always winning to me " Is this (mental) coaching to a student of level 2???? Ohhhh yess...I lossed a lot of money also. Many "thanks" to all of you Skydive Spain...I will always be remembering you!

Steve the CCI is welcoming and runs a really safe centre. He is always on hand to lend advice. The manifest staff are brilliant and do all they can to get you in the air as much as you want. The packers are excellent and really dig out to get you up and jumping within no time at all, meaning you can almost back to back. The planes are fast to altitude and the weather is great. All in all a great DZ with a really welcoming vibe. All disciplines were going on while I was there. Lots of nationalities which is always good.

I went to Skydive Spain for the christmas-boogie 2013.

All three Dorniers where flying, and during the entire boogie the only limit to how many loads you get, was how fast a packer you are.
we had some days of bad weather, but I still managed 32 jumps in 4 days.
(manifest is working pretty well).

There were many people at the dropzone, and the staff (though friendly enough) was under constant pressure.

I saw more of the load-organizers doing back-to-back, without any realistic time to do briefing/de-briefing...

all in all: the DZ is a really nice place if you are going to make a lot of jumps, but the atmosphere can be a bit too hectic for my taste.

I went here to do my FS1 and B licence progression course. With such a lot of things to achieve I was amazed that I got so far, and now consider I have vastly more knowledge and ability than I did before. The shortage of time meant I only got to my 3 way but that was partly down to a few windy days, but all in all some great coaching from some brilliant people. The vibe here is great and everyone was willing to help.I will certainly go back here and would recommend it as a great place.

Now that's what I call progression... What an amazing, experience, I haven't stopped smiling yet. With 240 jumps already under my belt finding the time and weather to get the necessary briefs and assessments done in the UK was proving tricky. Skydive Spain's B license progression course seemed like the answer, and I can not thank the instructors and staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble. Right from the initial stages of booking the course, through to goodbyes at the end of the week, everyone, without exception, was friendly, attentive and professional. The combination of first class instructors, and great facilities and friendly staff made for very easy learning. JM1 and CH2 to packing, rig inspections, and spotting, the briefs were well planned and informative. The added bonus of the most amazing FF instructor was the icing on the cake for me. Anyone having done their AFF looking for more knowledge, or working towards their B license, this is the course, and the DZ for you. 10/10 Skydive Spain (the smile factory) keep up the good work. I'll certainly be back.

Skydive Spain is so professionally well run (It is of course the sister DZ to Hibalstow in UK)
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
Fast aircraft and an exit at 15,000 or above!
Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit a really top DZ!

I learnt to skydive here in December 2010 under Pete and then Mishka. This place is nice and it looks as if they mean to be proud of their DZ as everything is tidy and kept in top notch condition.

There are lots of instructors who are never too busy to give you advice if you need it.

There is plenty of equipment for dirt dives creepers, a movable arch table other places don't have.

They have three large screens to debrief you and tell you of your mistakes or areas needed for improvement. A very large packing area as well as reasonably proced jump tickets. The lifts are continuous throughout the day where 20-30 a day is a slow day.

The only bad point is that the PLA is rather small with one side completely off limits. It also baked rock solid at times with a large ditch running around it making the PLA even smaller. Off landings can result in a very very long walk back due to the high fence all around the drop zone unlike other places.

But overall a very enjoyable and pleasant drop zone which is well run.

This was the second time I visited Skydive Spain and am fully satisfied with the trip again!
I traveled with a group from Sweden that has now been there 4 years in a row and the reason we always go back there is because of the great service from the staff, it is never any problems cause they help out with everything you need. The planes they use are really nice, fast and ok comfortable. The huge exit gives big formations an easy start.
Every load is well planned and you can tell that they know what they are doing.
Weatherbrakes accurred several times but they manage to time in the spots to send up a lift or two in between the bad weather, its really impressive.

The only negative thing I can point out is the café/bar this year. Last year when we were there I think it was managed by the dropzone staff and then it was good food for decent money and good feeling of the bar. This year the owner of the airfield run the café instead and the service was awful, a kid that don´t understand English and takes 15-20 min to make a sandwich is not ok.

But overall a good place to skydive, and I am looking forward to the next visit.

I have now visited Skydive Spain on a number of occasions having learned the sport in Florida and jumped at a number of sites in the UK. Skydive Spain is the one I keep going back to. All the staff without exception are friendly and add to the experience of being a fun jumper. The only downsides are the road to the airfield but this can add to the daily experience each day as you navigate your way round potholes, cyclists and olive pickers!! The toilets at the airfield are the only real drawback with the overall facilities and the cafe is run by the airfield not by skydive Spain, other than that the facilities at Skydive Spain and the hanger are superb. Everything has a place and it appears all staff take pride in keeping it like this, this is also evident in the plane. it gives you a lot of confidence that if you are going to use any of their kit it is going to be well looked after and maintained. the team at Skydive Spain have an attitude of how can I make things better and this is evident as every trip you notice improvements, from the layout of manifest to storage shelves for your kit, things are taken for granted at Skydive Spain that other dropzones don't even consider.

I have no hesitation in recommending this dropzone to my friends and to anyone who wants to learn to jump as I know they will get looked after and enjoy the experience, and if they do loose some time to weather holds then were better than to end up in 'Bollullos' the uniquely Spanish nearest village enjoying a Solomillo al Whisky in the bizarre Hotel Gadafi or having a drink in the triangle as local life goes on.

Wow what can I say...... An absolutely superb what was meant to be 7, but turned in to 9 days away at Skydive Spain.
I recently decided to 'have a go' at getting into Skydiving, I thought what better way than to really experience it by doing an intensive week long AFF Course. Originally looking to do it local here in the UK, I decided what with the typical British Weather, that perhaps I'd be better off looking at going abroad. I spoke several times to the guys at Skydive Hibaldstow who were incredibly helpful and suggested Skydive Spain to which I jumped at the opportunity. Sally, my instructor from Hib came along to instruct and train myself and a few other guys in the relaxed but upbeat and friendly atmosphere of the Skydive Spain's packing area and well equiped classrooms. There were always other instructors about to help or to give some simple advice or tell a few stories about their personal experiences, along with the friendly, witty banter amongst some clearly great friends. This was always more apparent in the evenings meetings at the local hotspots within the Triangle or The Pheonix Bar. Where ever you are from, whatever your background, providing you are prepared to listen, learn and show you are safety minded you will learn a lot from these guys. They of course not only cater for AFF students but a wide range of people. I like to be involved in all sorts of sports, but I have to say, this is the first time where I have felt totally relaxed and in comfortable surroundings with some really honestly sound friends. All the equipment on offer for rental was of a superb quality and there was always a helping hand on offer anytime. These guys clearly love what they do. The DZ was busy most days meaning a lot of loads per day, which is always a great bonus. All these factors plus the brilliant added extra of a DZ of 15,000ft, and turbine airplanes to get you there, you really can't complain. The facilities on offer within the area were fine, the Landing Area, a more than suitable size, these guys can even help out with self catering, shared accomodation. Everything you need for a good sociable trip away. I travelled alone and had no problems with it. Infact I'm hoping to plan a return trip very soon!

I visited recently in early Feb 2011. The weather is not as good as they claim. There were many rained out days or too windy/cloudy days which meant a lot of sitting around. A tad underwhelming when they advertise jump in the sun.

While the course I did was well structured the training varies a lot. As the instructors seem to do the AFF levels different to each other.

What is good for one coach is a fail for another. Pablo for instance backed off for the Level 7 while other instructors would be close by for example. Which can be confusing especially if a coach takes a day off.

Do not camp here though, the facilities at the site are pretty disgusting and the cafe seems to open when they feel like it. The swimming pool advertised is a joke. In addition to the drop zone being miles from anywhere.

My worst complaint is that there are some harsh unspoken rules. Beginners are treated harshly at times and talked down to I saw more than a few times. Mistakes are shown on the big screens for everybody to see.

Overall not a massively bad dropzone but there are better and if you are thinking of your AFF I'd recommend doing it somewhere else.

I've been there last year for one week,
but I was a quite disappointed...

The Aircraft Do 28 (G.92) was quite comfortable, very good in climb and always went up to 4500 m (about 15000 ft).
The coffeeshop at the dropzone offered tasty coffee and snacks at reasonable prices, staff there was very friendly.
The packing area indoor was comfortable and large enough.

But there were things, that I definitely did not like, first of all the landing area, which was quite large, but which had a very hard, dry surface. A deep ditch goes right trough it, and there is a huge metal arrow on it, which has to be turned to show the wind direction by a guy observing the wind at the landing area.

Then there's a barbed wire fence around the landing area with just 2 gates, which means a long walk after an outside landing, which was not ununsual due to the local landing procedures, which by the way were not mandatory to local skygods, of course.

We had up to 2 hours waiting time for the next load, as only one DO was flying. Double ticketing was not possible, except for teams and the local skydiving school, so at least half of the slots were blocked already.
In March we had quite strong wind, minimum jumps to get into the air often were between 200 and 500 jumps.
On Sunday it was announced, that there will be no skydiving at all next 3 days due to military activity.

Sanitary facilities were horrible and nauseous and partly not even working.
The so called daily cleaning was poor and not worth mentioning it.

All in all skydiving itself was ok (when you got onto the plane finally), but next time, I will go somewhere else.

I went to Skydive Spain in March 2008 with a group of 15 german skydivers. We 've been there for one week, and that is my personal review:

Pros:
The DO 28 always dropped from 15.000ft(4600m), and is climbing extremely quick! The staff was friendly and gave us every assistance we needed. The landing area is huge, but also has some cons (see below). The packing area is big enough, and has a shop aside. The bar offers reasonably priced snacks, meals and drinks. The weather in southern Spain is generally good, but sometimes windy. On several occasions a jump number limit between 100 and 500 was imposed.

Cons:
The landing area has a hard dry surface with some obstacles. Large stones, a big metal arrow showing the landing direction and a ditch through the middle of the landing area. Some rules for canopy flying are not valid for everyone. Some people get crapped on flying right turns before landing, some skygods don't! Even though they have two airplanes, only one was flying. That meant we had to wait for up to two hours for the next load. Accesibility is okay, but the last 3km are on a bumpy dirt track. Last but not least: Only a earthquake is worse than the toilets and showers! I know that skydivers are not very demanding on that, but these toilets are definitely below every standard. "Cleaned on a daily basis" seems to mean, that once a day somebody spills a bit of toilet cleaner inside and that was it.

Conclusion: Not too bad, but also not convincing. I will try another dropzone next time.

I was at the xmas boogie and had the time of my life. in 3 weeks i managed to get in 120 jumps with all sorts of people.the load organisers ensured there was variety, from 9 way tracking jumps to hoop jumps and more. there were instructors in all disciplines (except skysurfing) which were always at hand to offer advise and even joined me on a few jumps.i never had to wait long for a lift and the 4 aircraft were always up, or going up. i will def be at the easter boogie for more of the same...

WOW! I was very impresed about how the staff took us in and made us feel like we were part of the team! i couldn't be more impressed at how profesional, safe, and friendly they all were. the planes got us up to 15 grand in no time! i only wish that we could have more time to jump there. the dz had tons of outs, you would really have to go out of your way to get into a bad spot out there. great weather! i jumped in a t-shirt and jeans in mid january, no problem! I would like to thank the staff for everything that they did for my group.

just got back from xmas boogie, was absolutely fantastic, great vibe with all skydiving disciplines taking part. around 70 loads on some days! staff are very professional and i didnt have to wait more than 40 minutes to get on a lift. world class instructors and excellent rigging facilities. local area is very close to seville airport with lots of bars and restaurants. can be cold first thing in the morning this time of year but by mid day was fantastic to jump. landing area is huge but gets really muddy and awkward if it has rained. packing area is ok and i know there were packers on site. facilities are good enough but i would stay at a local hotel as oppose to the dz. good bar/cafe on site. you can not go wrong jumping here. weather can be so so this time of year so have a plan b for rainy days. south coast and gibraltar or even portugal are only a few hours drive away.

Yep, this is a very good DZ overall. The instructors are a professional team, and the packers go out of their way to help people and give good advice. Even the pilots are cheerful, which in my experience is pretty unusual for a DZ. Everyone mucks in to help everyone else here.

The PLA is absolutely huge, and has few hazards other than a small creek running through it. The staff discourage overflying the buildings and runway when under canopy, which seems pretty fair and sensible to me.

Lifts are to 15K - truly excellent, and cost EU24 each (less if you buy blocks of tickets, but the tickets are non-refundable).

The DZ currently have an SMG and a Dornier - the SMG is a fantastic jump aircraft and getting to 15K is really quick. The centre offers every sort of tuition you can imagine.

The only downside to this place is that there's a hellish unmade access road to the aerodrome, and I'm glad I was driving a hire car rather than my own one. Oh, and the cafe is a bit on the pricey side, but their food is good. To gain access into the aerodrome itself you have to use a swipe card at the gate - this is obtained from the DZ cafe for a Eu10 deposit. I would not like to 'bunk' here - the bunk accommodation is cheap but is, um, basic. When first I saw it, I thought there was a woodshed manufacturer at the aerodrome.

I was much impressed with Skydive Spain - I'll be back.

After my second visit to skydive spain within 2 months i would highly recommend this DZ, the staff, vibe and organisation was great, no complaints about the weather either. Even as a low experience skydiver there were people for me to jump with and i didn't feel like my experience was a disadvantage. Big thumbs up to the staff there! :-D

i have never been greeted with open arms like this before, top class dz, A big thanks to Becks and Jim for there help when i got there, and a big thanks for the way they got me jumping again a good thanks you for the staff at skydive spain...I had a good time. and will all ways come back.
