All skydivers contribute to a special kind of family type vibe, creating a great atmosphere.

I have been skydiving at Skydive Xtreme for a little over a year now, even though there are dropzones closer to me, this will alwys be my home dropzone!! The skydivers there have made me part of their family and I feel that this is where I belong!!

The staff there have helped me though all of my skdives and made sure that I am safe and that I understand what is going to happen and why. They have taken an intrest in all of my skydives and made sure that I enjoyed all of them.

They have two things in mind: Safety and FUN!!! I have never felt unsafe or endangered by the recklessness of the other skydivers at the club. Although they are extremely strict with the condition that the rigs come in and the way you land so that the rigs do not get damaged, they also take care of the skydivers. I feel safe because of the fact that they are so strict. Dankie Duits!

I have Never had so much FUN in my life!!! Thank you to the team at SX!! (Especially Carlos, Ettienne, Neels, Moya, and Fransois! You guys Rock!!)

Done my SL course at Icarus Skydiving School (Edenvale - SA) and my first jump at SkydiveXtreme. Moya was VERY professional. You will feel right at home with the crew at SkydiveXtreme. Great jump with line twists and all!

I jumped here in March 2003 and used their own gear. The quality of their gear is very good. I jumped a semielliptical 190. My landings weren't that great as I had not jumped for a while and I was then a fairly inexperienced jumper. On one load two of us landed out due to a bad spot (it happens - not a big deal). I managed to land in a very small clearing in a little field full of cows, trees and rocks. Well, this one big cow was in my way so I ended up ploughing into the ground just in front of it. I smacked my head good and hard. Luckily I was wearing a helmet. I wrapped my glasses round my face so I had cuts and lacerations too.

I carefully picked up the rig and me and this experienced guy (who had landed near me)helped get our rigs over the barbed wire fence without snagging them. But instead of concern for my well-being, all the CI was concerned about was his rig. I was concussed and had a head-ache for two days - was lucky not to have been seriously injured. I don't blame anyone for what happened - we all know the risks involved and accept them. I also understand his concern for his rig. But he should have asked me if I was ok first.

There was another instructor - female, tall with curly hair - sorry, don't know her name. She gave me a hard time for not being ready before a load. But the reason was that I had been told by the other instructor to wait for a rig to be packed for me. I didn't like her arsey attitude.

Hey, maybe I just had a bad experience.

I have done my first jumps at SkydiveXtreme, and found it to be a very professional, as well as friendly dropzone, with well-maintained equipment and very competent and professional instructors and jumpers. Everyone there is helpful and, due to very little air traffic overhead, a load goes as soon as it is filled! I would definitely recommend that you go there to have the time of your life.

My team has jumped at many DZs in SA. This is the only one that can (and is willing to) give us six loads before 11h00 daily. The club is very geared to its members and vistors. Nice to find a place that puts its customers first!
Saturday night parties are awesome.

I did my first AFF jump and then went on to complete my AFF course and A license at SkydiveXtreme with Francois. Excellent DZ, very friendly. I have been back about 10 times now and will continue to go there. The equipment is excellent and the level of instruction also really good.

Cheers
Neil
