I help to build up this DZ for more than 10 years and did more than 3000 jumps there. Earlier times this DZ was run by Skydivers but beginning of last year everything changed...now the local staff from the airport runs the DZ and they have no understanding how to make skydivers happy. I try to help them for more than one year now but it seems to me that they don´t want to listen to the wishes of the skydivers- that makes me very sad and I put a lot of effort into this DZ to make it better again as it has been before. A lot of skydivers tell me that they are unhappy with a lot of things- so do I. So I stop jumping there to find a new DZ that runs more professional to make all my skydiving friends and students happy again. The new DZ where we all jump now is Skydive Prostejov www.falconair.cz ...this place is run by very pro skydivers that have a lot of international expirience and the mood there is very good- because it is a place that is made from skydivers for skydivers- sometimes it´s just the time to make a change! So see you all again on the new place to be!

the organisation and staff treats the skydivers bad- they only like to earn money without working....very poor this season..this place was very nice but now it seams to die...dirty carpets for packing, turbine of the Turbo Let doesn´t start some time, the restaurant is very expensive and closed too early...I am sad that it changed from a very good to a very bad DZ since the good staff left...I will never go there again

Our group of 7 skydiver checked everything before coming to Slavnica. Plane will take off with 8 people was the deal for 2008!! Suddenly 12 people were needed for take off which was not able to on the first week of July boogie because we where just 10 skydivers. As I said : Staff unflexible, dishonest and unfriendly. We left this f.... dropzone and we will never come back !!!

Since the Management changed in 2006 everything went from bad to worse. 100 People fought for a slot in the plane in 2006 and now everything is gone.

For our case: They let us pay the manifest. One self-proclaimed "superstupid" rigger did the gearcheck and told us afterwards that they`ve changed the minimum load right now and we cant fly. (We doublechecked 2 days before)

I was part of the second group of 20 Skydivers who visited this DZ a month after the first aborted Helicopter Boogie (see reviews below).
Having jumped there my opinion is the same as the first two reviews; its an awesome DZ. My mate Ollie jumped a Let, a Brigdyr, an AN2, a Squirrel Helicpoter (a bonus that stopped by to refuel), a ballon and a glider all on the same day. Where else can you do that?!!
Prices very good too. Ballon £30, Glider £35 (you get two aircraft for that as the glider is aero towed) Let £12 Hop and pops £6 to £10 dependent on aircraft.
DZ staff friendly and helpful. Ammenities good. Beer cheap. Vodka suspect ;-) I'm definately going back!

I was on the same doomed helicopter boogie as mentioned by the poster below. We really were lucky to find this place.

Whilst it took a while to check docs and rigs of 50+ skydivers all arriving at the same time, the system was efficient, and the staff worked quickly to get us in the air. The aircraft are brilliant with chances to jump some unusual planes. All seem to be well maintained, and they definitely look well looked after.

The landing area is good - and not a single off landing in 2 days. The facilities are great - decent food at the cafeteria, enough capacity to look after our large group, great shaded area for eating and drinking, another for packing.

Showers and toilets were fantastic too.

The staff were all helpful and very friendly - and a lot of them could speak reasonable english. Manifest was efficient, and the system they use is great. It definitely came across as a safe dz as well - not because they were shouting rules at you, but just because of the way things are run, and the attitude of their local jumpers.

Can't wait to go back and visit again, it really did save our trip!

Oh, and the jump prices are great too!!!

A group of 60 of us from England turned up here at one days notice after being stitched up by another dz over our planned helicopter boogie. We got lucky after all. This is the best run dz I have been to.

The place is immaculate with extensive covered outside seating, excellent quality and value bar/restaurant and plenty of inside and outside packing area. The staff are very professional and competent, and the language barrier did not harm that. Manifest is super efficient and clear with a regular countdown for all loads.

The main aircraft is a spotless Let 410 that goes to 13,000 ft. They also have a Brigadyr and an AN2 biplane. The big thrill for most of us was jumping the gliders, climbing out on the wing before jumping off. Highly recommended! With a little more notice they would have had a hot air balloon too.

I averaged one jump an hour over 2 days, it was that well run. Give yourself a treat and try this dz out. Budget flights go Bratislava on Sky Europe and Ryannair.
