Skopje Aero Club is an association of aviation enthusiasts legally organized according the laws of the Republic Macedonia as an DOO . The desire to fly is what connects all members of the association and passion for the sport is what creates great friendships and gatherings at sport airport Stenkovec. The objectives of the Aero Club are popularization and promotion of aviation sports, coaching of new students, organization of domestic and international competitions and other sporting and cultural events . The Aero Club is active in three departments: modelarstvo, sky diving and piloting. Each department has its own agenda and activities that are being performed. Skopje Aero Club was formed in distant 1923. From beginning until today it is a place where all sky lovers gather. Many pilots, sky divers and even athlets, who have made major impacts to the Macedonian Air Force and the promotion of Macedonia in the world, have passed through Aero Club door. Many Aero Club members have participated in air sport teams and have competed in various disciplines in International competitions. Skopje Aero Club is a member of Macedonia Aeronautical Federation and through it to the International Aeronautics Federation FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale).
