Skydive Sardegna

I went to skydive Sardegna for the spring Boogie 2014.

Initially we had some bad weather for the first couple of days, so there were far between loads. But even grounded, the dropzone is really nice, with beanbags in the hangar, a swimming pool just outside, and the bar/restaurant just 30m away.

when the weather cleared, they were operating a Pilatus Porter, so we could go 10 jumpers pr. load.

The coaches and riggers(and everybody else) at the dropzone are super friendly and always helpful, and in the evenings they arranged BBQ's for those who wanted.

Overall: a really nice dropzone, where you can jump, or relax as it suits you.

We have been to Skydive Sardegna for the first time during the Christmas Boogie and found ourselves in a really nice place with a great setup and super friendly people. The DZ offers club atmosphere while skydiving in a relaxed but safe and professional way from beginner to experienced level. There are advantages like good and low cost connection and easy to get there from the Cagliari airport, all year round weather for jumping, especially mild temperatures in the winter and dropping altitudes of 4000m without any air traffic limitations. At the DZ you find English speaking staff, rigging, camera flyers, rental equipment and WIFI internet all day. The lack of Bar/Restaurant will be compensated not only by refresh and snack machines but also by the hospitality of the DZ Team who always organizes joined dinners or BBQ for the evenings. Jump tickets and other prices are average – overall a good choice to overcome the winter blues of northern European countries or to spend some skydiving holiday any time of the year. We will definitely be back!
