Siófok-Kiliti DZ

It is one of the best dropzones i have been in this part of the world. Accomodations are great so is the landing area and facilities at DZ. A place worth visiting and returning to.

Mi-8 will take up to 29 jumpers to 14,500ft in about 12 minutes (I set the timer on take off and a few seconds after 12 minutes the green light came on ). Big door at the back allow for a formations to exit in a snap.They will not take off with less then 12 jumpers on board.
9 packing hangars with soft cloth packing tables easily accommodate about 10 jumpers each at the same time , 1 serves as a restaurant @ big events.
Lots of rooms, showers and restrooms available. Camping area. Big Parking lot.Electronic manifest board, load organisers. The city of Siofok on the lake Balaton is only a few minutes from the airport.It is nothing but a little touristic place with Hotels, restaurants and shops.

MI-8 Helicopter is a big beast from Russia, strong and powerful, with side and back door, takes you up to 4,000+ meters fast. The only size and type chopper for skydivers in the World. No rule air space allows jumpers thru the clouds :-) Restrauant, Apartments, Rooms, and many hangers for packing, dz is modern and clean, rental equipment available. Near beautiful Lake Balaton. Very UNIQUE drop zone in a beautiful area...

We were a group of about 20 people travelling to this nice dropzone and had a great week there with lots of jumps with nice & sunny weather. Toilets, etc have been clean, food was nice, staff very friendly and helpful, etc. There are several (coverd) packing areas and payment is possible with credit card, cash, etc.

Anybody interested in helicopter jumps with nice atmosphere, etc should definately consider checking out this place!! :)
