If you are looking for a place around Berlin where you can do a lot of fun jumping, then Fehrbellin is the right place for you. There are some Tandems in almost every load, of course, but with room for 18 persons in the Cessna Grand Caravan you almost always get a slot. On weekends it's very busy and you sometimes have to wait 1 or 2 hours. There's always nice staff around to help you out. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a pro.

I visited Fehrbellin in September 2008 for the first time, and I can strongly recommend it - we really enjoyed skydiving there!
The landing area is large enough, no obstacles. A swoop pond is also available but not constraining the other landings.
The packing area in the main hangar is huge, no waiting time here at all.
The aircraft (a Cessna Grand Caravan) carries 18 skydivers up to 4000m (13.000 ft) within less than 20 minutes. Therefore we had very little waiting time for the next load.
The atmosphere was great, staff was very friendly and helpful, and we met a lot of nice people to jump with.
There's a large campground and a small bunkhouse (4 beds available, basic functional furniture).
All sanitary facilities were new and very clean - very pleasant!
We will definetely come back this year.

It took me very little time to make friends at this zone-my German is not the best-but never felt like I wasn't welcome. Fehrbellin has a large landing area with very few obstacles, and is easy to locate from altitude. On the week-ends, it can take a while to get on a load, due to a large number of tamdems, but there is no shortage of people to chat with while waiting.

If you visit the north of Germany this is the place you mustn't miss.
Very open, friendly and expirienced staff. All staff are active jumpers. High standards in all disciplines. Coaching and people to jump with in all disciplines.
The place to host the first german swooping competition!
Hoping to meet you thereÉ

This is a very nice dropzone - the people are very nice and the atmosphere there is great - in the evenings there is always something going on there (I recommend the FreeFly container ;) ... - The safety standard is high and the Staff is very experienced and you will find the best service you can get ...
And "rainbow design" is at the dropzone!
They have C-208/D - FUMP for 18 persons ... - My favorite dropzone in germany :)

If you don't mind waiting for tandems sometimes, this is a fun place to jump.
Coaching for most disciplines is available, and there are a lot of people that can give good advice. When the day's over, there are usually small parties all around the DZ. Check out the Freefly Container :)
