After we arrived ~11:00 at the DZ we found out that there are no starts before 14:00. Ok, our fault. We should have called and not depend only on the web-side, but it would be more professional if the information of actual opening hours would be available at the web-side and at the DZ!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get the opportunity to test the nice buildings and aircraft in praxis since we got very frustrated at the registration due to a very grumpy person at the manifest.
Standing in line at the desk, we got 3 times ignored by the girl doing the manifest. After we asked for the registration form we were told in a pert way that we must wait until she has time. After the 3rd approach we got so frustrated that we gave it up.

I wish you good luck that during your visit you will have another person at the desk. For us it was the last time we visited Gransee!

While on a short visit to berlin I wanted to ext=perience for the fisr time the DZs in Germany. Couldn't fuind a better representative. Very professional oin all levels: friendly manifest, good profesional staff that advised on rental gear, friendly jumping teamates, AND, the pricing was very reasonable, even on US terms. Higly recommended

This is a top DZ if you are a traveling jumper and want a good aircraft, easy landing area and an overall cool vibe. Didn't have the greatest Sat nite party, but maybe that was because they did 30 loads in the PAC that clear, summer day (inc 100 tandems). Great rental gear for 19 Euros incl pack job. Jumps to 13K feet are 30 Euros.Loved the big monitor that tells you EXACTLY how many minutes until you load for your jump. No bunkhouse but you can camp and park your van. A short video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfC40ztoOq4 Fun DZ. Go Jump.

All very positive in Gransee. A DZ for everyone, tandems, fun jumpers, students, teams or just visitors. The staff will look after you. I had a great time over there.

Gransee is an airfield only for skydivers. There are no glider, ultralights or anything else. The landing area is very big and in the area around the dropzone are many free fields and scarcely obstacles.
All nessecary facilities are available and in good conditions. The stuff is very professional, friendly and helpful.
The restaurant supply you with fantastic food from about 8:00 a.m. till night/early morning (breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, cocktails and so on).

Get away from everyday life and dive into another world!

A modern DZ with a great facilities, and a nice lawn to hang around on. Lots of freefliers at this DZ, some of which world-class. Manifest is well organized, though on some weekends it takes ages to get on a load because teams get prioritized and can double-manifest.
