The DZ is to the right of the passenger terminal on Pierrefonds airport so it is easy to find. Once in the club there are many very helpful and friendly people that will valiantly struggle with English if your French is weak. With paperwork out of the way we found rental equipment that was right for us quickly. They don’t have jumpsuits so make sure you bring “jumpable” clothes, if you don’t have your own suit.

The briefing was also good and very many times we were told that the landing area is a bit small so watch out. Beginners will need to sharpen themselves as there are not any real alternatives to the DZ and plenty of hazards. The club is quite small so no food facilities onsite, but during our visit they had a great BBQ at night.

What a superb location for a DZ with a view to the stunning view of the mountains, volcano and the beach all in one jump. Be there early though as the clouds tend to come over the mountains around 9-10 o’clock. They did sunrise jumps some days, so take advantage!
