Parachute Club of Utti (ULK) was founded in 1963. By the number of members and activity ULK is today the second biggest skydiving club in Finland. Club members together with visiting skydivers make a total of 5000 - 8000 skydives per year. This includes trainingjumps of 200 - 250 SL/AFF- and 100+ tandemstudents.
During recent years the Parachute Club of Utti has arranged several skydiving events. These include hosting several times Finnish Parachuting Nationals as well as Utti-Boogies 1994, 1995, 1999 and 2003. Aircrafts used in these events have been Fokker F-27, DC-3, AN-26, AN-28, Let-410, Twin Otter and Mi-8-helicopters. DZ-Utti has been hosting also speedskydiving world-cup competitions in 2007-2010.
