I want to remind everyone that when travelling IMO get Air ambulance insurance, before yo get here!

For gripes sake all it takes is a twisted ankle or worse, don't wait to be that unlucky one!!

Don't let your vacation or great experience be ruined by the machine down here off the DZ.

Although the DZ is located in a beautiful spot and the crew is super friendly, their lack of organization was a big problem for me.
The first issue was not explaining in advance that I would have to wait until all tandems had jumped before I got a spot on the load. This meant I got to the DZ at 7am and only got a spot on the 10am load.
But the worst part was not being able to jump because when I finally was on the plane, they realized that in the 3 hours I was waitting no one remembered to give me a waiver to sign. This meant that I had to get off the plane, go back to the DZ and by that time more tandems had arrived so I would have to wait even more.

Excellent DZ! Short ride from San Jose and from Central Pacific beaches, the best DZ in the country, without a doubt. Excellent tandem coaches and flawless AFF training. Beautiful scenery for the ride up (mountains, forest, beaches, gulf, rivers, and more), all the USPA rules and guidelines followed to a T and great gears, to ensure a safe and fun ride down. Great landing area for beginners. 110% recommended!

Have jumped on Houston TX and Costa Rica, I prefer Costa Rica. This is just an emerging sport and dropzone in Costa Rica, but this country has amazing views when you jump and while you ascend. Very friendly crowd, and the staff usually has guests from other dropzones.

Currently loads are for 5.

Costa Rica still doesn't allow high altitude drops, but the administration is working on it.
Locals are very friendly, you'll most likely get to know everyone after having your jumps and go out at night.
