Gatineau Ottawa Skydive

Went here for a first tandem jump for grandson 21, daughter in law ?? me 70, birthday jump. The staff were wonderful and joking but professional. The aircraft was excellent. Being a bright sunny day things could not have been better. I am now in the process of getting my solo qualifications with these people. Never to old. Thanks Goskydiving.ca

Had a super fun time and will return. Nice landing area. Caravan aircraft was pretty nice. A cool younger crowd of people. Decent scenery. Packing area is basically a large tent and works just fine unless it gets hot out. I recommend!

Started there as student, good professionals , always open to help. Very friendly and with really SKYDIVING way of thinking. Love that DZ.

Before, I had to wait 3-4 hours to manifest myself on a Cessna in Ottawa, because of a single Cessna and a backlog of tandems!

Now, I've jumped 2 times in less than 3 hours, moments after arriving, thanks to the 10-person Navajo that has arrived.

I am VERY happy the Navajo has come to Ottawa. Plenty of room to squeeze in a few experienceds, and even a 4-way, while still paying the bills with three tandems simultaneously. We experienceds may just be filler sometimes, but the improvement in Ottawa is like night and day -- no longer have to wait as long to get on a load. It's totally understandable that tandems have to pay the bills. Three Canadian dropzones are recently getting the Navajo - I now know why they are so attractive.

Since it's so close to my place, it's perfect for my busy schedule. Just show up, hop on a few loads, and i'm back home fast. I don't have to commit my whole weekend.
