It was just amazing! Words cannot even describe it! Instructors are very well prepared and give their utmost. Very good atmosphere, cool and relax. Very big landing area, safe and you definitely cannot miss it!! Really recommend this drop zone for AFF course and tandem. Thanks for everything!!

Came to Toogs early Dec2012 to knock out my A-License with a buddy. The dropzone is super laid back, everyone hangs out together after the last load for some beers, and the parties tend to get a little loose. The staff is awesome!! All of the instructors are easy to approach and are more than willing to help you out whether it be freefall-coaching, packing instruction, or canopy piloting. One of the best advantages Toogs has for students is its MASSIVE landing area. Seriously, you can't miss and if you over shoot, then you saved yourself some walking time. If you are in the area, I strongly recommend stopping by!

I did my AFF here and right through to "A" Licence. They were great every step of the way. Even once off AFF and doing solos the instructors and DZSO would always check up on me and make sure I was looked after. Which was good because this is a very fast paced DZ with a lot of experienced jumpers on the weekend and it could be easy to vbe lost amongst the people.
The food is great and plenty of options. Well run DZ that has been running for a long time so they definitely know what they are doing.
As for fun jumpers in QLD this is the place to be there is something on everyweekend whether its freefly or big ways there is always something happening and always a good place to learn new skills from the great talent pool that is there every weekend.

Having done my AFF at Empuriabrava and consequentially making it my home DZ - I was very spoilt for vibe, professionalism, scenery, parties etc. I have jumped across the UK which I found not friendly at all, Marche - which was cool (but limited facilities) and when I got back to Australia (after 8 years), I jumped at a couple small dz's in QLD which quite frankly scared the hell out of me!! Then I found Ramblers - it is a BRILLIANT DZ, Macca who runs it is welcoming helpful and they quickly sorted me in changing over my licenses and got me jumping with some very cool friendly people. The plane is great, they have packers for those lazy jumps, the food is great and you feel at home straight away. I have found my new home DZ. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!

I did my Aff here and it was fantastic! Everyone is super nice and the instructors were extremely helpful no matter what. Caravan goes up with just 4 jumpers to 14000ft AGL. Great parties, good food, loved every minute of it!

The owner and CI is the most enthusiast fun jumper i've ever met, and that pretty much summarise it. Make sure your timing is right, and there's no better place to be.

Top location to learn as the instructors are professional and very well experienced but also like to have fun. You don't need to drink to enjoy the atmosphere as everyone is really friendly and always willing to help or give advise. Good gear and sytems in place as well as great party people.
Cheers for the excellent experience folks!

Ramblers is an awesome place to go when you love skydiving and good parties. I reckon it's true about their saying: 'Skydive Ramblers, FAMOUS FOR FUN'.

Staff is really friendly and helpfull and are taking care of you, they treat you personally and not as just one of the other skydivers around who's paying the money for another jump.

Among the skydivers there's a good vibe going on and everybody is very helpfull to eachother.
It's busy during the weekends and in midweek they have special deals to get a plane up. The caravan is leaving deck with 4 people or more, when you pay an extra AUS$ 5,- from 7 or more they don't charge anything extra.

Make sure if you're planning to stay there during midweek to bring food, cos the kantine only opens during the weekends. Shops are nearby.

Toogoolawah is a great dropzone to spend some time hanging out and jumping. Lots of good people and good fun. Decent facilities & the food is nice. Not a tandem factory.

Not as hectic as somewhere like Picton - things don't start quite as early, and during the summer months, afternoon thunderstorms are common.

Recommended.

I went to Australia for a five week holiday and decided to do AFF as part of my time abroad.

I scanned dropzone.com for DZ's and read up on a few in Sydney, Cairns and finally Ramblers. I checked out the Ramblers website and rang them and was booked in.

I got out there, had a good time with my mates and moved the AFF back a week to keep drinking! Ramblers had no problem with me doing that, they were very accomodating.

They picked me up from Brisbane airport, and by the end of that day I had done two stages of my AFF. The instructors were a good laugh, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny. There was a good sense of community, even when it was quiet and there weren't that many people around. The Addiction package AFF course is great because it means you don't sweat doing repeats, and once you've qual'd you've got spare jumps stacked up to consolidate with.

There's great facilities and a well stocked bar, and everyone's up for a laugh.

Considering that I did not know what to expect, I feel lucky to have picked Ramblers as my place to learn. Everyone I met told me that it's THE best DZ in Australia, and I can see why. I bloody loved it.

Thanks to Debs, Steve, Marlies, Tom, Spready, Mutzi, Dave and everyone else I met there. You are all legends!

Ramblers is a great place to do your AFF course and has a perfect environment for students: quiet during the week so you get maximum uninterrupted time with your instructors and busy at weekends so you can learn lots from others. Whether it's the big boogies, crazy weekend parties or free learning curve camps every couple of months, there's always something going on here, with the emphasis being on skydiving progression, staying safe and of course, fun!

Overall, Ramblers really is a great DZ. No matter if you've got no jumps or if you're a 10,000+ jump skygod, you'll receive a super-friendly welcome! Hopefully I'll be there for Equinox 2006!

I've just spent the last 11 days at RAMBLERS in Toogoolawah.

I competed my AFF in 4 days and now have a total of 20 jumps in my log book. I did their 'Addiction' package which was great as all my AFF was videoed and all my consolodation jumps were paid for in one go.

What else can I say, a really wonderful place. I learned a lot, both with the instructors and chatting to other jumpers by the bar in the evenings. A fantastic place to learn and great for all levels and types of fun/sport jumpers.
I will hopefully come here again one day.

Amazing, Awesome, Spectacular, all this and more. Went from Canada to Ramblers for the Xmas boogie. Best decision! Truely they have a reason to be famous for fun. Met some cool jumpers from around the world, who have become friends. Learned tones, did some incredible dives, Dave's famous Friday sausage night, lots and lots of 1st...and you know what that means! :-) Not even a question, the best DZ I have been to for facilities et al. Look out Equinox!

It offers the cheapest International "A" Licence Course for backpackers around Australia. Free acommodation is also provided when undertaking the course. The drop zone is open 7 days a week, so many students often obtain their licence within three days. Most people employed at ripcord are from all over the world, so job prospects are good too.

I spent two weeks at Ramblers Toogoolawah. I completed about 45 jumps in 12 days of jumping. Everything is cheap, the people are great, Including the massive amount of foreigners including myself. Safety is paramount, and fun is second to that. The night life included regular BBQ's and as soon as everyone landed from the daily sunset load the bar opened and the wild came out. The DZ also hosts one of the wildest boogies in Australia every October. See you there!

I was fortunate to do my B rels ther and had the whole DZ to myself which will never probably happen again.I learnt more in three weeks there than the last year abrooad.
Exiting regularly at 14,000 ft. and landing in an area wher you have unlimited room has also proven to be a rare thing.
Best of all no attitudes just 24 hours a day of skydiving.
Full marks in my books. I will definitely return.

It's nice to finaly see that there is a skydive centre whitch is open 365 day a year. Most centre's are only open during the weekends. Are we not al looking for 24 h a day and 7 days a week 52 weeks a year of jumping fun and stuff?
Ramblers give's you all!
