World's FIRST Skydiving Music Video (Video ID: 1199)

Before every video jump made used the song "Jump" there was the "ORIGNAL". This video was produced in 1984, and premiered on July 2nd at the Aero-Country Airport Drop zone, near Dallas. MTV was in it's infancy and the group Van Halen had just released their hit song "Jump". This was the "World's FIRST Skydiving Music Video" that was shot, edited and preformed to that song. This video was shown to David Lee Roth, the band's lead singer, who stated, "Fantastic! This is exactly what we had in mind when we wrote "Jump". (Video by: Pete McKeeman/Larry Turner)
