Skydive Chicago 2004 All-American Spring Skydiving ExpoPosted Thursday, March 4, 2004 By Missy Nelson Skydive Chicago personally invites you to attend the 2004 All-American Spring Skydiving Expo! It's a whole new look, but the philosophy of bringing forth knowledge to new and expert jumpers remains unchanged. So mark your calendars for Saturday, March 27th and Sunday, March 28th and be a part of a new generation!
As you may already know, the Spring Expo is an opportunity for manufactures to showcase their latest products, host seminars to relay product information and safety and to socialize with jumpers in a drop zone friendly environment.
So far, Zute Sute Jumpsuits, Sun Path, Relative Workshop, Performance Designs, Freefall Accessories and Bird Man have all confirmed to attend and more will be added. Speakers, Scott Landorff of the FAA, John LeBlanc of PD, Bill Booth of Relative Workshop, Missy and Rook Nelson of Skydive Chicago, Kirk Smith of Para Concepts, Dave Cicciarelli of Skydive Chicago, Jari of Bird Man and Lyle Presse of Sun Path will all be giving seminars on various subjects on skydiving.
If you pre-register by sending a check or money order (Attn: Expo, 3215 E. 1969th Road, Ottawa, IL 61350) or by calling the DZ (815.433.0000), you will receive a $5.00 discount!! Otherwise, registration is $25.00 at the door. Besides being able to take advantage of this event opportunity, for all those that register, they will receive $13.00 jumps (for licensed, experienced jumpers; gear rental not included)!!
Preceding the event is USPA's Coach's Course hosted by Glen Bangs on March 25th - 26th. Please go to www.USPA.org to order your course materials and sign up by contacting GGBangs@Aol.com.
