  • PD Factory Team Sweeps the Extreme Week Event - by Shannon Pilcher
    In late June the PD Factory Team set off on a two-week, action-packed adventure to the Scandanavian wonderland called Norway. The primary objective was to compete in the European Swooping Tour (EST), one of the many sports being showcased on the Extreme Week billet.

  • New German National Big Way Formation Record Set - by Andreas Szerbakowski
    From November 2-11, 2006, I gathered with German jumpers at Skydive Arizona in Eloy to build a new German Record. Main organizer, Dieter Kirsch, planned a 150 (156) big way formation with the goal to beat the previous 122-way German performance in 2004 over Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

  • Pro Swooping Tour Kicks off 2006 Season - by Stuart Schoenfeld
    On April 28th some of the best canopy pilots in the world kicked off the 4th year of the Pro Swooping Tour in Lake Wales, FL.     More than 390 BASE jumpers made 645 jumps from the 876’ tall New River Gorge Bridge during a rainy 25th annual Bridge Day celebration in Fayetteville, West Virginia. The October 16th silver celebration of Bridge Day allowed for legal BASE jumps for six hours from the world's second longest single arch bridge, although a mid-day storm halted jumping for approximately 25 minutes.
