About iFly Indoor Skydiving

The growth of indoor skydiving around the world has really taken off in recent years, and one company to ensure that they offer the ability of indoor skydiving in as many locations as possible is iFly. iFly was founded under the name SkyVenture in 1998, this after they spent several years developing the safest and yet technologically advanced flight chamber. By 2005, what was then SkyVenture had already opened 5 indoor tunnels - extending beyond the United States and opening the first international location, at Airkix Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom. It was also at this time that the name was changed to iFly, while SkyVenture was maintained as the company's design and manufacturing company. At this point, iFly began to expand rapidly and over the course of the next 5 years saw a total of 11 new indoor skydiving centers opening, expanding range into Russia. To date iFly has opened a total of 21 indoor skydiving centers around the world, from Singapore to the UAE - from England to Russia - and they're not done yet, a new center is opening this year in Australia

iFly Seattle - 2nd Annual IBA Tunnel Competition

iFly Seattle, which opened in August 2011 will be hosting the second annual IBA tunnel competition on the 24th of March.

Registration Fees and Categories

3 Way Rookie Belly Scramble
A team of 3 performing very basic and fun belly flying formations. The team with the highest number of completed formations wins!

Registration Fee: $30 per person

4 Way FS Intermediate
A team of four performing as many predetermined belly flying formations as possible within 35 seconds. The team with the highest number of completed formations wins!

Registration Fee: $80 per person

4 Way FS Advanced
A team of four performing as many predetermined formations as possible within 35 seconds but will consist of more advanced formations and transitions.

Registration Fee: $80 per person

2 Way Head up Scramble
A team of 2 flyers performing very basics predetermined head up formations and docks. All flyers need to be able to sit fly and two flyers able to fly head down.

Registration Fee: $80 per person

4 way VFS advanced
A team of four performing as manym predetermined formations as possible within 35 seconds but will consist of more advanced formations and transitions. All flyers need to be able to sit fly and two flyers able to fly head down
