The ground shakes. The sound of turbines tears through the air and desert animals flee from the shadow cast by the formation of north-bound planes. The airpower of Skydive Arizona is returning to Skydive Moab for fifth time this September...

Mother Of All Boogies is back.

Clint MacBeth and Bryan Burke are again teaming up for 4th annual MOAB.

"This year's MOAB will have everything that makes it the world's best desert boogie," says Skydive Moab owner, Clint MacBeth. "We are still planning on skydiving into Mineral Bottom Canyon, (just next to Canyonlands National Park), cross-country jumps over the beautiful Moab red rocks at sunset, Utah State record attempts and the best RW and freefly organizers are all a go."

Skydive Arizona will again divide the fleet between Eloy and Utah. The Super Skyvan is coming and with it will be two Super Otters (if enough jumpers show up to support the 3rd plane). "When Bryan Burke brings Skydive Arizona's airpower to the desert, people want to skydive hard! Last year we had over 220 jumpers and did almost 2500 jumps, says MacBeth. "We'll have the best planes, pilots and load organizers here making it happen."

Surrounded by the Mars-like terrain of the High Desert, Skydive Moab sits between two spectacular National Parks and one State Park. Arches and Canyonlands are both right out the window on jump run as well as Dead Horse Point and other stunning sites. The physical beauty of the desert is unbelievable from the ground - from 13,000 feet it may be the most memorable sight of your life.

Amy Chmelecki, Todd Hawkins, Jay Epstein and Wyat Andrews will be organizing loads for the expected 225+ jumpers from across the globe!

The Mother Of All Boogies is proud to have Amy Chmelecki organizing freefly and hybrid jumps. "She's putting together awesome jumps at all skill levels," says MacBeth.

The Utah state record is in the sights this September and Arizona Airspeed's Todd Hawkins intends to capture it. "I'm betting after Saturday's record attempt, Todd and some very happy RW jumpers are going to be very excited," says MacBeth. Hawkins will also be organizing RW loads from 2-way and up.

Jay Epstein, from Adrenaline Exploits, returns to coach those who want to learn and load organize for experienced body pilots.

Also on tap for the MOAB; hop n pop-cross-country sunset jumps overlooking both Arches & Canyonlands National Park, the Colorado and Green Rivers and many more spectacular views that Moab has to offer.

Flockers, trackers and wingsuiters will have this year's newest gear to demo brought by Phoenix Fly. Performance Designs will have the hottest new canopies for all disciplines for you to try. A representative from PD will be available to help you pick and fly the right canopy for you at Skydive Moab where the field elevation is 4550' msl. Featured vendors for the 4th annual MOAB include: Performance Designs, Opening Shock and Icarus' Canopies. There will be plenty of Go Fast energy drinks to keep you jumping. Other vendors and sponsors will be supplying the shwag for raffles, prizes and giveaways.

Noted adrenaline-sports videographer Tom Morrow, of Action Adept, is producing the 4th MOAB boogie video. "There will be a fire-wire booth set up to donate your jump and party videos," says Morrow. "The number of jumpers here with digital cameras means everybody makes it into the final product. We just need everyone to firewire right after the jump."

Once the sun has set, the party starts! Thursday night: jumpers head into town to The Moab Brewery for some great beer and cheap appetizers! Friday night: Beer, BBQ and Bonfire. Saturday night: Party at the airport. There will be free camping at the airport. The average seasonal temperature for this part of the High Desert is 83F daytime and 45F night time… perfect skydiving and camping weather. Skydivers can decide to camp or stay in a hotel in town, we are reserving limited rooms for those who want a room (they won't last long, so reserve early).

"Another great thing about this area is that there are a lot of cool things to do in Moab," says MacBeth. "The bike-riding here is world-renowned. Plus, we have rafting on the Colorado and Green Rivers, Canyoneering, Rock Climbing, Jeeping, Rafting, ATV & Hummer tours. But, really, the view from altitude is enough to keep everyone coming back."

Skydive Moab has been featured on Fox Sports Network, Warren Miller films, the TV show Destination Wild, the Travel Channel and BBC (British Broadcast Company). They were also hired for Discovery Channel's Man vs Wild.

Register early by September 14th for only $30 (or later for $40). For more info visit www.skydivemoab.com
