AerOhio Skydiving Center Customer Appreciation BoogiePosted Tuesday, October 10, 2000 By Kathie Ritchey In the past, AerOhio has chosen to close during the Labor Day holiday due to the other big boogies that were taking place that weekend. At the request of jumpers, AerOhio decided to stay open and what a great decision that was!
Nearly 1000 skydives were made out of the Twin Otter beginning on Friday with $13.00 jumps! "Jump All Day" and "Jump All Weekend" passes lowered jump prices as low as $12 for some participants. Over 120 first time jumpers, which included 43 AFF level ones made their first jumps at AerOhio during the holiday weekend. Free Organizers for all skill levels kept us jumping. Saturday night the dropzone treated everyone to a great Italian style dinner buffet, desserts, beverages and free beer. With such a huge success AerOhio has decided to expand holiday weekend boogies and increase lift capacity to handle the overflow next year.
Many thanks to our students and experienced jumpers for spending their holiday with us!
