Description:
The HEATWAVE range of main parachutes are a fully elliptical 9 cell design incorporating zero porosity fabric and microline. HEATWAVE sizes range from a 100 Sq. Ft. design with a maximum recommended all up flying weight of 134 lbs to a 190 Sq. Ft. for a maximum recommended flying weight of 246 lbs.

Heatwave 150

Pros: Great speed, great turns
Cons: Openings tend to be hard

Have been jumping a 150 loaded at 1.23 for about five years. Opens slightly hard and fast but makes up for it in flight. Great speed and glide angle. Needs to be "flown" all the way through landing. Good flare. Good rear riser control. Honest flight characteristics throughout the entire range of flight. This is a fun canopy despite not being as popular as the Stilletto.

Pros: Consistent openings, flies like a dream.
Cons: End cell closure once in a while.

Too bad pisa doesnt make sport parachutes anymore. Construction is great nice openings not to slow not to hard. Every once in a while get and end cell closure on opening easy to clear though. Flies super fast and turns even faster. Awesome flare stops even with no wind.

Pros: Soft openings/Responsive
Cons: None

Dispite what I have read and heard from alot of skydivers, this canopy is awesome. Nice soft on heading openings with the nose push in the pack job (not rolled) and the tail rolled. Ocassional end cell closure, but very quick recovery. Flies great in "shifty winds", Only have five jumps on it so far.
