Description:
"Dead Men's Tales" is a video produced by Leo Dickenson, producer of the "Wally Gubbins" series. The six tales include the first mid-air rescue in 1908 of a woman who could not release from an ascending balloon from which she was planning to parachute; the near-fatal canopy entanglement of two British Royal Marines; the 1966 static-line hang-up over England; Greg Robertson's celebrated mid-air save; and the story of Irish skydiver Noel Farrelly, who survived a main-reserve entanglement. 50 minutes long.
