Description:
This NEW helmet by Bonehead Composites, has a new visor system unique to skydiving. The ENTIRE face of the helmet, including chin flips up. This helmet will fit most prescription glasses while leaving the visor in place. Audibles can be mounted on either or both sides. Like with the rest of our helmets the liners are fully interchangeable and replaceable.

Great helmet... however a misting concern
Rated by: Renegade001us (more about me) on 2008-01-02 16:00:08 (user reviews) Review ID:1919

Pros: Love the whole visor lifting up
Cons: misting

I wear glasses and the Havok works out wonderfully. it is very comfortable and it is great to not have to "work around" to get my glasses on. I do have a misting problem. Have heard the new visors come with small holes drilled in them. Has anyone tried to do this in an older visor and if so does it work well Thanks

My Havok works for me
Rated by: denete (more about me) on 2007-07-30 10:36:23 (user reviews) Review ID:1846

Pros: Lightweight, secure, inexpensive replacement lens, and my glasses fit under it!
Cons: None noted at this time

I bought the Havok due to having an awful time with over-the-glasses goggles. Everything that I tried was inadequate, and caused problems with depth perception on landings. The Havok fits well over my glasses (mine are a bit wider than most), and has been easy to deal with under canopy as well (opening, closing, etc.). I have not yet baked the liner, so mine is pretty tightly fitted. I will be baking it this week and can post an update after jumping it again. The photo shown in the review for this helmet isn't what the current iteration looks like. Take a look at boneheadcomposites.com . - David

Awesome full face helmet
Rated by: KNewman (more about me) on 2006-06-01 00:00:00 (user reviews) Review ID:1560

Pros: Flip up visor, good fit (after baking inserts), solid construction.
Cons: Velcro for chin pad pulled off, (Easy to fix though). Exterior audible mounts. Restricted visibility when opened.

This is a very good helmet. I like being able to leave it on my head on the way to altitude and just flip the visor down when the door opens. The ski boot style visor retainer is very secure and easy to operate, even with gloves on. The only downside to this helmet is that your upward view is restricted when you open it up. I just leave it closed until I land. Great helmet, try it you will love it!!!
