Best way to clean a wingsuit? Can't Post

Looking for best info on how to wash and clean a wingsuit. Have Tonysuit Mach 1 and have stain on the front from dirt and grass. Soap and water?Machine wash...hand wash and hang? Would like to clean the whole suit. Also have another S3 Birdman suit. A little dirty at the bottom of the white tail. Can anyone tell me the best way to clean these suits? Nice to have them spanky clean again. Thanks

Best answer: ask Tony (as in Tonysuits)

My experience: I've washed my Birdman Blade twice with good results. I remove all the hardware (hook knife, cutaway cables, etc), put the suit in a mesh bag, take it down to the local laundromat where I use one of the big washers (the kind you wash sleeping bags in) since I think it results in less agitation to the suit. I wash it in cold water with a small amount of soap, repeating the cold wash cycle again without soap to assure a good rinse. I then hang it to dry, which happens pretty quickly, except for the leather booties. YMMV.

I just followed Tony's directions with my M1. The suit is so robust that no heroic precautions are necessary.

Give it a good spray with ScotchGard and the dirt with come out easier next time. ScotchGard won't do anything for the smell, though. :-)
