Our group from Nebraska should be at least doubled, maybe tripled. Thanks. Safe sounds good, but I do sort of plan on seeing what kind of mischief I can manage.

Mischief...us????. Who would have thought. I will try to keep Buttercup at home this trip but can make no promises.
Damn I just thought today it was about time for someone to start an LP thread and there is already two pages. I got the whole week off and am leaving the kid at home this year. Should be a hoot!!
Well Doc and I have offered to pick up Bolas at the airport and bring him to the boogie.......the trouble that we will be getting into....one can only imagine

I have heard the stories of the tower and seen the pictures. But my butt never actually made it there last year. You, for sure, can count on me being there this year!

at lost prairie if you look up on the far ridge their is a small look out tower (used for spotting fires back in the day) every year usually the last thursday of the boogie, everyone who is willing to risk their soberness all loads in their vehicles usually 7 or 8 cars packed full. then we all head up to the tower and watch the sunset. They do all sorts of flybys and you can watch the people over the prairie deploying, it is pretty amazing. a lot of good memories, im not exactly sure bit i think it is 3500+/- feet higher than the drop zone,

Hmmmmm I'm teaching this summer and that means Monday through Thursday so I was planning on getting there Thursday night. It sounds like I might need to skip school on Thursday so I can go to the tower. Think my students would mind???
