While I am a member of the N&E Committee, this is my personal opinion.

I do not think so.

Whoa? Its not his personal opinion posted in a public forum when he said it was his personal opinion and thusly not the opinion of the USPA? You're making an argument point about that?

How many times have you raised hell about that single point over the past 18 months or so?

she chose to answer the question of "Jumps in the past year?" with an answer of "unknown." Some candidates estimated their jumps at 1000+, some at 100, some at ten, and some admitted to zero.
Cheers,

I'd say you guys would have been safe to have stated either "unknown", or to be constant maybe "0+," or maybe "greater than or equal to 0 (couldn't figure out how to use the symbol here)" Coincidentally, that's how many jumps I made last year.

This is all a mute point now that the election is over but 0+ is confusing and pointless. If you made 1 jump then come out and say you made 1, if you made 50+ then put that down but if you are having a hard time remembering if you made even a single jump then at least put a number in.

I have a feeling this was done on purpose to cause another pointless argument. Crazy

I look forward to being at the BOD meeting in Reno next month, when we will presumably hear more about this -- maybe more than we want to hear.Wink

Yeah well, I look forward to being elsewhere if this is the type of issue to be considered by our national organization. Wink I mean really, it's not friggin difficult to know or estimate how many jumps you made last year. Nor is it difficult for that to be reflected in the election bios.

Jan, you do appear to be evasive about the question after responding twice in this thread but not answering the question. Can you clarify please? How many jumps did you make last year? The answer to the question would not have change how I voted however...

Yes, "0+" was rhetorical as it would be correct for every being living or dead on earth, or elsewhere. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish sarcasm through the written word, especially if you don't know the writer. Guess I should use more emoticons?

See ya in Reno!
