Description
Student failed to open the main spring loaded pilot chute due to it being traped The ripcord was made out of yellow cutaway cable and not stiff black cable. Student was unable to clear this hard pull. The FXC 12000 AAD did not work properly ,as it was out of its maintenance date by five years.
