Skydiving in Iowa
Iowa, also known as the Hawkeye State, is located in the Midwestern United States, also known as the "American Heartland". Iowa derives its name from the Native American Ioway tribe who were the occupants of the land when the Europeans discovered it. Although Iowa is famous for the Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI), it is also becoming more and more popular as a skydiving state where those seeking the adrenalin-rush of a lifetime hang out and practice their hobby at various skydiving sites all over the state.
