Idaho is a state which provides some of the most spectacular views in the United States, and borders on six states and one Canadian province. The landscape in Idaho is rugged and consists of some of the largest unspoiled natural areas in the United States. Some of these natural resources and scenic areas include the Rocky Mountains, vast lakes, snow-capped mountain ranges, steep canyons, and rapids, such as Hells Canyon, which is the deepest gorge in the United States.

Imagine floating high above rugged cliffs, viewing the gushing waters of the Shoshone Falls, or looking down on the mighty Snake River, the Clearwater River, or the Salmon River. The Idaho Climate

There is great variation in the climate in Idaho, and can range from a maritime influence causing cloud cover, humidity and precipitation in the winter to very wet summers and dry winters in the eastern part of the state. The temperatures can rise to around 100 °F, although this is rare for long periods. Generally the summer days are tempered by the low relative humidity and the evenings are cooler. The winter months can bring cold, but not generally excessively so, and below zero temperatures are brief when they do occur. It is always best to check the weather ahead of time with the drop zone where you wish to jump, and whilst doing that also remember to check on any rules and regulations regarding clothing to be worn during jumps.
