This is a very nice non-judgmental group of jumpers that will certainly welcome newcomers with open arms. They will freefly, bellyfly, hop and pop, wing suit, coach, teach, and frankly just jump with any remotely kind soul and do it safely. They have the nicest C-182 I have jumped from in my nearly 30 years of jumping and a nice in-hanger packing facility. I was not present for any of the negative commenters but I cannot imagine why anyone would make those comments other than just a bad attitude. Blue Skies, see you in Crete!

Started jumping here with the SL course now have completed my A. Extremely safe DZ and very friendly staff. Through my A license training I always felt safe and that safety was this DZ's #1 priority. Great facilities. Huge Hangar, bathrooms, training room. Huge packing area.

I recently took my S/L course here and the owner was only concerned about getting paid. He told the pilot that he was not allowed to put more gas in the tank than was necessary to get up and back down and then watched to make sure the pilot did not "overfill" the tank in his opinion. This resulted in the pilot not having enough fuel to land and he crashed in a corn field, luckily everyone was out of the plane! They also severely skimped on the training and just gave you the answers to the written test so that they could get you out of there. I went to LSPC in Weepign Water and paid to take the course all over again and it was worth every penny. I would not recommend anyone go to Crete.

I jumped at this dropzone for a long time. I left for personal reasons, including relocation for work. I returned to make some jumps with a long time friend and was treated like crap. They were only focused on tandems; didn't have a pilot until the clouds cleared; there were only three non-student jumpers; and it took all day to get two jumps in. When we were down to three people, they sent the pilot home. From experience, they are a very safe operation. They have a great training program and very nice equipment. THe plane is small and nothing to look at, but normal for a small 182 dz. Overall, as a licensed jumper, be prepared to sit around a lot and be bored.

Went back in January to see old friends; we were all treated terribly. I will never return to this dropzone again and will not recommend to anyone if asked.

When my oldest son graduated, I took him to crete as part of his gift. We loved it, it is something that he and I will share forever. It went so well that two years later I took my younger son, and I am still at it working on my class A Lic.. Instruction, hands on, packing even after actions on jumps. Everyone is envolved. If you are a one time jumper or looking at it as a hobby, Crete is the place I would recommend to start. Blue Skies

Being in Nebraska to see relatives, I went to check out Crete Skydiving to get a jump in.

The landing area was nice, they had a big hangar with couches, vending machines, etc. But by far the best part was the jumpers -- I'd never been there before, and my first (and unfortunately only) jump was a 3-way.

I'm used to a King Air, so the ride to altitude in a 182 seemed a little slow, but probably normal :)

I had a great time, and I plan on going back every time I visit Nebraska. Check it out!

After a year of research into types of training and where to take my training I decided to go to Crete because when I stopped by they we're by far the most professional in the area. This is a privatly owned drop zone with safty first. I took the static line course and now I've earned my A license. This drop zone has hand picked well trained jump masters, acres of flat landing ground with no hazards, a huge 25' by 100' swoop pond for the experienced flyers, bunk house with showers, carpeted hanger for packing which is also heated, top of the line training aids for the student, modern equipment, camping area, gear sales and rental, and the most friendly people which love to jump with new jumpers and help develope there skills. This is a fun drop zone I can't say enough
