Friendliest little DZ, the best folks around

Madera Parachute Center Rated 5 by: taylorUSAFA16 on 2014-02-22

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Hard pressed to think of any

Can't say enough about how great everyone at MPC is. Extremely welcoming, friendly, great weather and a ton of fun to jump with everyone out there. If you are in Central California, I suggest you stop by on a weekend.

Will deffinatly return...

Madera Parachute Center Rated 5 by: loginnotfound on 2008-05-12

Pros: Great staff, personal experiance
Cons: None

I did my first AFF skydive from Madera and I am very impressed. I had a great time and will be returning for further training. The staff was great and very welcoming. After all the ground training there was no doubt in my mind about what I would be doing and how to do it. It was a very personal experience where you don't just feel like a number. Can't wait to go back.

Cool, low key place to jump

Madera Parachute Center Rated 4 by: kcogletree on 2007-06-01

Pros: Easy 2 locate, great view from altitude and nice people
Cons: No stickers, patches or t-shirts

Since I'm a sticker freak, I was disappointed they had none, nor any patches or t-shirts. Basic no-frills DZ with a great vibe. Everyone we met was very nice and helpful. The 182 was ok by me and the pilot is great. Landing area is right next to the hanger with plenty of alternative outs. I'm surprised more people don't jump here, being so close to Fresno. Well that ok, I guess, since they only have the one plane. BSBD! C-ya!

Small and fun dropzone

Madera Parachute Center Rated 4 by: dzkid39 on 2005-01-25

Pros: Friendly and safe
Cons: Only one plane

Madera is a good small Dz. It has friendly staff and is welcome to everyone. The dropzone has a slow pace that is refreshing to some of the bigger dz's. The only problem is that they only have one plane and it is a cesna 182. Overall I think madera is a great place to jump.
