After a 21-year hiatus from skydiving, I went to Baldwin to restart my avocation. Merriah Eakins and Mark Baur were invaluable in helping me get back in the air. The jumpers are welcoming and friendly.

This is one of the best dropzones I've jumped at.
The locals take you in like you are one of there family. No sky Gods.
The Otter is the cleanest one I've seen to date that hauls jumpers. Had no problems getting on a load.
The landing area is the largest and flattest grass landing area I've ever seen. The surrounding area has plenty of outs.
The facilities are top notch and kept very clean.
World class coaching available. I can go on and on, but if you are in the area I would highly recommend you drop by.

This is probably still one of my favorite DZs that I have jumped at while traveling with my rig.

A few years ago two colleagues and I (who all jump) were traveling for work in the Minneapolis area. We dropped in at STC on the weekend and again during the week to get a few jumps in. The people, facility, grass landing area and twin otter were all great. I still dream of getting some more work in that area so that I can go back to visit... I mean jump!

I Started jumping here in 1977 when it was called Baldwin Sport Parachute Center, after an absence from the sport(to raise my kids) the new owners and staff welcomed me back and made my reentry to the sport a smooth process. This is a graeat dropzone for students, families, experienced jumpers, and even us old fart has beens... You'll be impressed by the professional staff and warm welcome. I do jump other dropzones but always return here. It is just a great place to jump. 5 stars!

Had to redo my AFF there after taking a two year hiatus from jumping without finishing my A license. Had a blast. Camped out there for about a week and couldn't jump for the first couple of days due to weather, the staff took me in and we had a blast. Bonfires are great fun, everyone is real friendly, and they are all professional! The wind tends to get a little gusty, but they are constantly watching the weather and will get you up if they can safely. Thanks alot everyone! I'll be sending photos to you all soon.

The people and staff at STC were great. I had some experiance jumping, but a little on the big side. At another DZ I was told to have a nice day, but they couldn't help me get back in the air. The owners of STC did there best to help me. They set up a Tandom Rig so I could get back in the air while I looked for my own rig. The Staff and packers were always so helpful to get me in the air! I hope this comming season I get more jumps in with my own gear.

I've noticed a big change from previous years to the present. The current staff is excellent and totally professional....this dropzone has friendly owners, Flew-ID, and a great bunch of faithful regulars. Their AFF instruction is great and they also bring in Scott Miller for his canopy course. It's worth a visit.

You can't find anything bad to say about STC. From the moment I got there I was greeted like one of the family. The owner himself invited me on my first jump and it was a blast. The rest of the day was spent doing 10-way's out of the Twin Otter.

The good folks at Baldwin, were absolutely friendly and took me under their wing, as if I was one of their own. The late night night Bonfires, commratery, and general fellowship that was displayed was so welcoming. Experienced jumpers took me in and assisted with their insights. Not only did I have a BLAST, I learned a few things and I broke some "bad habits"! I truly was made to feel like part of the community with open arms. This was my best vacation at a DZ! I can not thank them enough! P.S. Always had a hot shower!

A fu**ing huge landing area, great packers, friendly, lively and commited regular jumpers and staff.

Basically a dropzone based on the passion of skydiving as a sport. A great DZ for everyone, whuffo's, students a must!!! and regular jumpers alike.

I will definatly be going back! And I know I will be taking a load of other people along too!

A DZ not to be missed, especially taking into consideration its credited safety record, and amazing videographers, tandem and aff instructors, and fantastic packers!

I've been camping out at Skydive Twin Cities for 10 days now and it is great.
Lots of hot water and friendly people. The PACKERS rock also. The whole facility is awesome. Lots of green grass landing area's also. Great bon fires on Friday and Saturday night's. The AFF class/course is also awesome. Took only 4 days to get thru it. When the weather is good and the Twin Otter is flying, it is very easy to get 5 plus jumps. The instructors are great and spend as much time with you, as needed. All I can say is, if you live in the area or like myself 6 hours away and from canada, Skydive Twin Cities comes highly recommended.
