We are a new DZ located about 1 1/2 hours outside of Las Vegas and 3 hours from Los Angeles. Our field elevation is around 1000 ft and we are very rarely weathered out because of this. Gorgeous view of the mountains, very large flat landing area with no obstructions for miles around. We will be upgrading our facilities over the coming months so please come out and support us! Great staff, great coaches, great times. Please call ahead or check us out on facebook for jump dates and times, we will be opening up every weekend and some days during the week soon but are not open every day as of yet.

New DZ in Baker, California.

Wasted Talent Skydiving Rated 5 by: Frank57 on 2011-05-11

Pros: Best instruction anywhere. Not too far above sea level.
Cons: No trees.

Just so there are no surprises: There are no facilities, at the time of this review. Just lots of desert and a paved runway, (the town of Baker and the 15 freeway are about a mile away).
You are encouraged to bring a tent or RV and your own creature comforts.

What they do provide is a quick ride to 13k, with the best vibes anywhere, and fortunately for me, superior quality rental equipment is available. The student instruction and coaching is the best, anywhere. Tandems are welcome.

Very soon, there will be a building, with photos on the wall, of our colorful tents and canopies, against a perpetually blue sky.
Make no mistake. These are the "good old days".

Don't miss it!

Great fun jumper DZ. Good people, safe, fun and the vibe is GREAT!

Wasted Talent Skydiving Rated 5 by: mrfalconfixer on 2011-04-26

Pros: Vibe! Wide open landing areas.
Cons: New DZ......just getting going

This DZ is just getting going and has some limited hours right now, but they are worth the wait! Every time I go out there the place gets better. The local jumpers are great and the DZO is very knowledgeable and make sure we are all safe and have a good time. For a truly good time, come on out!

A great time

Wasted Talent Skydiving Rated 5 by: DDom90 on 2011-04-26

Pros: Great Staff, Awesome Vibe, Just plain awesome
Cons: Its a little bit of a drive but worth it hands down

I'm a new jumper and I did my aff course with Grand Master Awesomesause Brince. I had a great time, and if I had a question they were all happy to answer my questions and even give encouragement on trying new things. I honestly will never forget these guys that taught me to fly (or fall with style). If your someone who just wants to try a tandem or if you want to get into skydiving give wasted talent a call and fun jumpers are more than welcome.

Great Dz for fun jumpers

Wasted Talent Skydiving Rated 5 by: starfish666 on 2011-04-21

Pros: Attitude, coaching, great vibe!
Cons: Still a small Dz

Wasted talent is a new Dz not far from Vegas. The attitude out there is so relaxed and focused towards the fun jumpers. Great coaching is always available, the Dzo is so helpful and jumps with anyone and everyone. This is a great learning environment and I recommend this Dz to any fun jumper. It's a bit farther than the other dzs in Vegas but its worth the drive. Love you guys thanks for all the great jumps, you rock!
