City Skydiving!

Fly Free Skydiving Rated 5 by: Lujako on 2015-03-26

Pros: Friendly DZ & Fun DZOs
Cons: Cessna DZ

Jen and Josh are awesome DZOs. If I had to pay per answer, I would have to cut my jumps in half.

Great place to call "home".

Need to learn to pack? Jen will teach you!

Jumping over the Mississippi is very cool!

1st Tandem Dive

Fly Free Skydiving Rated 5 by: brat1980 on 2014-04-06

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!

Just a quick "THANK YOU" to the whole staff at Fly Free Skydiving, you all were more than wonderful! I now know why you all truly love your jobs! I have wanted to skydive for years, and today I finally had the opportunity to mark it off my bucket list because of all of you! Thank you so, so, so much Shawn (my tandem), Terry (friend's tandem), Shannon (pilot), Jen and Josh (owners), today would have not been possible without all of you! I will highly recommend Fly Free Skydiving to any and all! I will wear my shirt and advertise as often as possible! I hope to make it back sooner than later to get that rush and taste of pure adrenaline! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

Pros: Very Professional concerning safety
Cons: none

Made my first skydive as a IAD and had a great time. The training before the jump was professional and thorough. The complete staff is easy to work with. Stop by when the area and enjoy the atmosphere.

Fly Free Skydiving Rated 4 by: billjones on 2010-10-17

Pros: Overall it was fun
Cons: Noise level of the plane.

After my hearing came back I guess I enjoyed the experience.
I can only imagine how the people in the area feel about that roaring plane flying over their homes all day. Can't you find a different muffler or something to lower the noise?

EXTREMELY friendly, great instruction, couldn't be happier

Fly Free Skydiving Rated 5 by: JohnnyMarko on 2010-02-15

Pros: Great staff, amazing people, beautiful views of IL and MO
Cons: I didn't have any...I had to drive an hour but thats my fault

I'm a newbie with 8 jumps and all 8 have been at Fly Free Skydiving. I was really worried when I went to make my first jump that all the experienced people would look down on me. NOT AT ALL at Fly Free. Everyone was great to me and made me feel like Id been jumping there forever. The instructors were amazing and always made me feel safe and comfortable, always asking me if I had any questions and what not. I consider it a 'Mom and Pop' DZ cause of the size but I love that kind of "non-corporate" atmosphere. Whether your a first jump student or an experienced skydiver, you have to get to Fly Free to experience the people and beautiful scenery of the Mid West.
