Pros: King air and 2 cesnas, full of pro staff. beutiful.
Cons: weather ( though good this season) can be real hit and miss.

I fell in love with my dz as fast and as hard as the sport itself. In fact, I may not have caught the skydive bug anywhere else. There is a vibe that comes right out of the ground there and it draws a type of person, the right type. My wife and our three kids pulled up stakes and moved to westlock from over an hour away just to be closer to it. Very family friendly. Its a must jump dz. everyone who can should come for a weekend and get to know these guys. They've created the perfect environment. Probably the best teaching dz in the area at least. E.S.C. is also known for they're epic party's and events!

Great place to either learn skydiving, do a Tandem, or jump with friends!

Pros: Swoop Pond, Large landing area, great staff, fast airplanes.
Cons: winter season

I flew here for the summer of 2011 and absolutely loved it! Most fun I have had at a dropzone in 3 years of flying skydivers!

Pros: new management, air conditioned packing area, another plane, renovated facilities
Cons: 120 minute drive for me but i do it every weekend

i have been jumping at Westlock since last spring and have really enjoyed it. I am eagerly looking forward to the new changes this year with new management, renovated buildings, HD video services, air conditioned packing area, flush toilets, and a lot of new equipment. Can't wait!!

Great DZ

Edmonton Skydive Rated 5 by: Kat1221 on 2003-09-30

Pros: Best people
Cons: Hard to get on a load when there are lots of students

Westlock is where I started skydiving, and still the overall most fun, nicest DZ I've been to. The people are great, and this year it is under new managment. Its growing, and by next year should have a second plane. There are enough experienced people there to get good coaching, or find people to jump with, and the atmosphere is relaxed and a lot of fun.
