Description
At last there is a modern malfunction and first jump course video available at a very affordable price. Only $69.00 and I'll even pay the shipping. NTSC DVD only.
Over $10,000 and four years of work were spent to bring to the skydiving community this much needed video training aid. It is broken down into 40 chapters so that instructors can teach in whatever order they choose. The video is not method specific although the freefall priorities section does lean toward AFF. It covers all facets of the first jump course including equipment, emergency procedures, actual staged MALFUNCTIONS, canopy checks, freefall priorities, air speed vs. ground speed, canopy control, landing patterns, after landing and last but not least, outtakes and bloopers.
The advantage for the instructor is that he/she will be less likely to miss or forget anything and the advantage for the drop zone is that all instructors will be on the same page teaching the same thing.
This video is also a great refresher tool for Safety Day.
Just make a PayPal payment of $69.00 to riggerwink@earthlink.net or email me at that same address to make other payment arrangements.
WARNING!!!!!
This video is not intended to replace proper instruction from a licensed skydiving instructor. It is to be used as a training aid only, in conjunction with a properly administrated first jump training course that meets industry standards as set forth by the United States Parachute Association. Making a skydive using only this video for training would result in serious injury or death.
In other words, if you use this video in any manner other than it was intended, you are going to die! You might even die or be seriously injured if you use this video as it was intended. Skydiving is a dangerous activity. Proceed at your own risk.
