Please tell me why 100 ft isn't enough time to unstow your breaks? It takes just as much time to reach up and unstow your breaks as it does to reach up and grab your risers.

When you unstow your brakes your canopy surges forward. Do you want that at what looks like 100 feet. Feet and knees together and PLF.

The downside of shooting tandem video...not looking at own altimeter for the sake of shooting a "good" video! I'm guilty of this. I'm depending on the jumpmaster and his/her altimeter working properly. But, I know I don't have time to goof around for long after the tandem dumps, especially if I'm on my back shooting the opening.
