Cons: They're dishonest misleading and don't deliver

Ordered my rig from PDF back in August / september 07, I was promised 3 months than 6 months, than 9 months than 1 year, now its feb 26 09, Last week I told them to keep the Rig, I'll go else where, If I can't trust PDF on the ground, then there's no way I'm trusting them in the air. What else have you Forgotten.

The worst supplier of anything I have never got... The lamest apology from any company.... Maybe PDF should stick to making Rigs for the armed forces, and stop pretending they give a rats ass about Sport skydivers

Cons: Too much time to receive it

I ordered a Legend R on September and they tell me 6 months.

After few month they ask me to add 6 month

After 3 month they ask me to add 2 and half month.

At this point I give up and I decided to renounce to my rig and buy other one. There are only in my DZ 3 people with the same problem.

Cons: Waiting times

I placed and order for the atom legend r nearly over a yeah ago I had a choice of 2 rigs that were "freefly friendly" but I went with pdf but after a yeah of waiting and paying for kit hire I haven't saved any money on buying a different set up if any body from pdf reads this can they contact me as you haven't got a website to contact yourselves....?

Pros: Comfort and reliable
This is a very advanced set up.In true French style,they have outdone themselves and set a high standard in the industry.The overall finish is excellent and as far as freefly friendly goes,this rig is as tight as a frogs ass!

My first rig - a good choice

Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Small parachute bag

This is my first rig. Although that in my area the trend is to use only american equipment, i have done some research and bought this second hand three years old rig. It is very comfortable, easy to pack but the only thing difficult for a begginer like me is that the parachute bag is relatively small and this stage of the packing is a little bit harder to perform.

Pros: Even better than the classic Atom
Cons: Exchange rate has changed. And they take ages.

Learned on Javelins but I've done most of my jumps in France, so was used to the quirks of PdeF containers (reversed risers, minis, double RSL), so when I bought new I had a straight choice of Javelin or Atom. Went for the Atom Legend because you seemed to get a lot more for the cash. After 100+ jumps I find it incredibly comfortable (well, sure, it was built for me), and a few tweaks that make it better than the older Atom. Things like a redesigned closing flap making it freefly bombproof, extra flaps to stop your lines wrapping behind the reserve tray, and not one scrap of velcro. I'd advise hip rings - makes everything more flexible / comfortable. The build quality gets more impressive the more rigs I see. Long wait, and not so good on the exchange rate now, but still a terrific rig.
