Fatal incident in Italy Can't Post

Translated article:
Fatal jump
A skydiver dies
RAVENNA, 6 DECEMBER 2003 - a skydiver 22 y.o is died in the afternoon to the margins of the track of the airport the Spreta to Ravenna. The young man - Massimiliano Solaroli, of Riolo Terme (Ravenna) - jumped from about 4.000 meters together to fifteen or so companions and is hasty to the ground, probably for technical problems to both the parachutes.

Re: [xing] Fatal incident in Italy [In reply to] Can't Post

The same article then goes on to saying that his "automatic opening device opened his second Mini-parachute" but even this was not enough to prevent this unfortunate skydiver from breaking his neck-bone. Unfortunately articles written from non skydiving people are seldom clear... I think they meant his cypres fired at 350m but he impacted the ground badly and hard. I have no other details apart from this potentially unreliable account.
My thoughts and those of my friends are with Massimiliano and his family.
