Spaceland Freefly festival Can't Post

They are planning another freefly festival at Spaceland for April (April fools is usually the time frame).

The owner will post details later but tentatively there will be.
1. Fun freefly scrambles (sit and head down random team drawings making sure each team at least has one head downer if their are head down compulsory moves)
2. Seminars (Maybe Rook Nelson and Max Cohn) Smile
3. Freefly coaching
4. Freefly load organizing
5. Swoop contest (encouraging everyone) maybe next to ditch with bonus "style" points for using the water/also practice and maybe swoop seminar Cool
6. and the always fun tracking contests
7. videos shown on widescreen TV

I think the idea will be for it to start a week early with freefly load organizing, seminars and coaching for people that want it, jumping during the week and the following weekend will have comeptition.

Come have some fun

I am *so* there. Wink

I was hoping they'd do this again. Last year I was just off student status when they had it.

I am trying to get a bunch of load organizing.

It is always much more fun to have someone famous organize a dive for you.

I am sure a bunch will be there like last year.

I am looking forward to jumping with Goat.

In reply to:
Fun freefly scrambles
"Fun" NOT, I was with Booger. Booger weighs 3 or 4 times my 135 (5'8") Rook and I both could not catch him. Scramble indeed.

Also, please be advised that there was ONE female contestant last year -that would be ME.

And I came in DEAD ass Last, except for the tracking contest. But it -so- did not matter, I was there and I had fun.

Hey ramon you gonna be back from UAE in time?

I may try to make it out to S-land this Sunday. If you're planning on going out drop me a line.

hybrid [In reply to] Can't Post

We can always do hybrid dives too. Several of us know how to organize them now and if Chris Fiala comes, he knows how to organize big ones Laugh
