WTF is a "rail exit"? Can't Post

I got an e-mail from the pst list talking about some sort of thing called a "rail-exit" at the new swoop "park" in Perris. What is that?

(no, I don't think I'm anywhere near capable of even considering the thought of maybe trying for the pst. I'm on their list for shits and giggles and to keep track of whats going on).Tongue

I've been thinking about it and my total uneducated guess is that maybe they will exit the pond at some point and have to

get freaky styley and grind down the rail...Laugh

Anyone got a picture of the rail?

I imagine is something like the ones used for wakeboarding, but smaller. Hope they are not thinking about steel rails!

You got it, sir!

Don't know it it will be incorporated into any competitions, but it is a feature of the new swoop park being built at Perris.

The only use I can see this being any good for are the sky surfers. Rail Grinding in a pair of shoes doesn't really work, otherwise, we could save ourselves the rolerblades/skateboards/etc. and all just go giver shit on the curbs in our sneakers! Tongue

Am I missing something!?

Don't you remember the SOAP shoes? I still got mine.
There great for grinding, but you should have some rollerblade experience. They are slippery as hell!

When I bought my new SOAPS my best buddy wanted to build like a handrail at the DZ for swoop grinds.... I thought it was a bit crazy, but now that someoneelse came out with the idea.

Fu¢# it! I'll try it.

If things keep on going the way they are, maybe in a few years we'll be Swooping the half pipe! JeJe

There is an excellent picture in this months Skydiving of a guy busting his ass big time trying to land with roller blades on. I predict that we will see some spectacular ass busting shots if the rail thing actually gains any popularity.Laugh

I think a better idea would be to build a longer pond with the rails they use in wakeboarding, that might be better.
