Looking to buy an Audible... Can't Post

I've heard all of you say great things about Pro-tracks and Neptunes. For those who have tried both, which would you choose???

I have ProTrack. Im generally happy with it. Theres only one annoying thing. If you jump out at 1st warning level or between 1st and 2nd level, it wont record anything.

it will record after something like 8 sec of freefall... i like my protrack, even if it didn't record 3 jumps with very few seconds of freefall...

so change your 1st and 2nd warning altitudes - this can even be done on the plane - (just so long as it calibrated itself on the ground)

Euhm.. you probably set these for a good reason. Changing it simply so it logs your jump is probably not a wise idea.

On the Pro-Track there are 3 different areas for setting your audible warnings so that so can set different levels for different types of jumps for example I have my first warning set at 4000ft as break off from small FS groups, 4500 ft for freefly/ bigger FS formations and 3100ft hop'n........pop . I leave the other two heights set for pulling 3100ft and 2500 ft PULL NOW Mad. It is quite easy to cycle between these without having to alter the levels.

Hope that makes sense. Haven't got my instructions to hand but on the levels screen i think you press mode and set together. The other thing to keep in mind is that the L&B customer service is second to none.

Yeah, And the result that way is 0. No jump, no deployment altitude...... It was a hop`n`pop jump anyway.

Read the Neptune thread in G&R....

Then do search on the Pro Track.

Make your own mind up. The info is all here for you to make a choice.

For me, I never try to be the first on the block to buy a new toy.
