Almost Aggieland Time....

OK - so I know there are going to be some REALLY GOOD freefliers around this weekend but I hope the "newbies" aren't going to be left behind to do solo jumps. I am backtracking and trying to recall names of OFFERS I got back in the day. So are ya still coming to Aggieland and do the offers still stand? Who else might be willing to jump and help a new freefly wanna be sister out?

Goat will be out there organizing. So, you can count on that. He participated on the 30-ways down in Florida. Wealth of knowledge and good dude. We'll be there on Friday. I'll jump with ya before all the bigway stuff kicks off. The Dallas crew is definately looking forward to this weekend.

okee dokee.....adding DJ to the list. FYI - be warned that I am hanging the camera some where I can grab it when we walk off the landing area so I can snap pictures of whomever jumps with me. I'm a dork like that and want pictures, not to mention signatures in the old log book of everyone who makes my trip special......
Is it Thursday yet? See you guys then..... Did someone say this weekend was going to kick ass?

while you're in texas you should come up 2 states to kansas and jump with us here. i know a a guy who would help you out greatly. he seems to be the FF pimp, as well as the pimp around the dz lol

hey dee, looking forward to that hd jump. i'm sure you will find no shortage of people to jump with and help you with your flying. i expect your most memorable jump will be the crw jump with catfish. stack, side-by-side, downplane in first crw jump. that's gotta be a ride. and btw, those crw jumps are available to anyone who wants to give it a try. only cost your jump ticket. cya in few days
BTW, bring your boots for Thursday and maybe Friday night.

Yee-haw......I think it might be pretty gosh darn fun to learn those dances but what if I don't have boots? Will my feet still work? Maybe we could aim for Friday to play since I won't be in until late and am sure I'll be beat after working all day and then flying in that nasty recycled air......

I have always loved the canopy side of skydiving since I started...granted now that I am more comfortable in freefall that is giving me much joy but thinking CREW just got my tummy doing all sorts of twists.....in a VERY GOOD WAY! I think it is something I will definitely consider, especially since it doesn't cost anything extra ...Just have to feel confident that who is doing it with me will tell me all I need to know before hand and make me feel safe...Gosh - that is so a picture I would need but don't think I will be close enough to the ground to get that one, even with a super zoom. I'm ALL ABOUT having pictures of "firsts"....Gosh - can the thought of this weekend get any more frigin exciting?!?!?!

There is no need to worry about the CRW. He does everything, your just going along for the ride. I have 200% confidence in the crw coach. Regarding parachutes, this person imo, is one of the most knowledgeable skydivers out there. I trust him to teach me BASE and i would trust him to pack my reserve. and anybody that knows me can tell you that, that says alot about him. He's even taking my dad on a couple of crw jumps on Sunday. Trust me, if I wasn't totally confident in his abilities then there would be no way i would let my dad jump with him. So no worries. You may be able to get someone to go along and take stills. Probably have to cover slot. But a good picture of you in the downplane should be no problem to take from the ground as long as it is pre-arranged. Just let him know to start the downplane over the camera person.

Oh thanks a whole heap...we'll see if I am brave enough once I get there for that one. As long as Catfish lets go of me in time for me to sort things out for my landing......Oh my - I'm wiggling in my seat just thinking about it.......I'll never get any sleep the next 2 nights!
